Artemis raised a brow. As Zeke kept blabbing her hands clenched tight. Soon engulfing themselves in flames she cocked her head to the side. "Now now, Id watch your tongue there Immelman" She barked. He always pissed her off. They used to be best friend when they were younger. Then...they both got there powers.
Both going different ways he wanted to help she wanted to rule. "Well shouldnt you be on the ground crying for your life- oh wait...that was last time" She hissed.

Zeke laughed, the flames around his own fists growing with every moment, raising the temperature of the room "You kicked me in the nuts with a flaming foot. What else would a guy do? Besides, wasnt it you that ended up losing that fight?" He smirked, cpopping his knuckles by tightening his grip

Biting her lip she sighed heavily. This kid was going to be a pain in her ass she knew it. "Well you had to get in the way of the fight down town. There was no need for you to interfere with that building heist" She said walking and closing her books. Breathing lightly she un clenched her hands. "Dont you have someone else to bother?" She said looking at him.

Zeke rolled his eyes and casually tossed a few embers at her book, burning the edges slightly. "It was my local bank...As in that was where my money was kept. Of course it was my business" He retorted, smirking as he watched smoke rise from her book

Missy soon felt her book become slightly heated. Seeing it burnt her eyes grew wide. "HEY!" She yelled putting it out. Breathing she stopped herself from usung Earth. Last time the kid almost died and she had to pay for the common room. She sent sparks down to the solaes of his shoes as she looked backk up to him. "You got something to say go fill out a sheet for a battle" She barked at him.
Artemis gripped her books. Last night was so perfect, why did he have to come and ruin it.

"I got nothing to say..." Zeke sighed and slumped in a chair next to her. "What happened to us Molley? We were so close as kids" He sighed, watching the ashes from her book dance in the air currents he formed between his hands

Artemis stopped what she was doing as he called her Molley. She hadnt head that name in forever. Sighing she shook her head. "Ze" She said sitting on the couch. Shaking her head she
"What happened to us?, what do you think Zeke. We became supers" She said waving her hand as the ashes fell to the floor. Inhaling she looked over to Zeke. "I followed a different path." She shrugged. Zeke was her best friend.

Zeke smirked at her calling him his old nickname, except he only ever let Artemis call him that. "True I suppose...But I miss you Molley...Maybe one day we can be close again, but for now..." He trailed off, standing and turning to leave "I'm hungry, I'm going to find the cafeteria...Comedont come I dont care" He called over his shoulderr. Catching the ashes in his had he threw them back at her "It was fun catching up, let's do it again sometime" The ashes formed a smiley fac midair, hovering for a moment before the smile collapsed into a frown followed by the face collapsing all together as Zeke left.

Artemis sat there as she listened to him. She shook her head at his comment. "Yeah..lets do it again" She whispered watching him walk away.
"Ugh" She called as he left the common room. Picking up her books she walked out of the common room as well.

Tobias sat down at a table in the common room and opened his backpack. With a sigh, he extracted his homework from the depths of his bag and arranged it neatly on the tabletop. Staring at the blank page before him, TK secretly wished the homework would finish itself so that he could go off and have fun. Alas, no such luck. TK checked his phone one last time for new text messages before starting his work.

Tobias finished his work after several long hours. He put his pencil down and stretched. A yawn escaped him as he packed up his things. Off to bed! he thought sleepily.
