At the Park

[Nefertari Adel]

"She'll be fine, just having the normal freak out that comes with realizing you have a new power. And she has that family thing", she replied, Tari got out her cell to text Artemis just in case.

He looked over at Melrose, shrugging his shoulders “Not really sure, this is only my second time in the park.” He sent a small wave of relaxation throughout the little group, trying to help everyone relax.

Tari suddenly felt a lot more relaxed, she knew her problems hadn't magically went away so she looked around. It definitely wasn't Aaron since he disliked using his power for some reason, she raised an eyebrow and looked at Siburis.

He looked at her, his face blank “Yes, something on your mind Nefertari?” He Kept his face blank as he looked into her.

[Melrosie Marshal]

Melrose gave a sigh of relief. Geez, Siburis was good at what he could do.
"Nefertari, huh? That's a pretty name. I wanted to say so before, but all the confusion- well you know."

[Nefertari Adel]

"Thanks Melrose, most people just call me Tari though",she replied then turned to Siburis,"Nothing, never mind."

Samantha watched as Cora fled from the park, and sympathy passed through her. Of course she knew that Cora had discovered a power, because she'd seen it before. She felt another wave as the girl fled, and looked at Siburis.

He grinned as he stud up and took a couple of step. “I’ll catch you both later, alright?” He turned to Nefertari and Melrose smiling.

Samantha decided she spent enough time at the park. So she walked to the exit without a word, and went back to school.

After talking to a group of people for a while, Nefertari grew bored of the park, the crickets were also starting to really get on her nerves. She picked up her bag and headed for Oceanside Gifted, walking a bit faster now that it was night and the creepers were coming out.

Tobias walked along in the near darkness of the park. He carried glowsticks in his pockets and four dodgeballs in a bag. He looked around, wondering how he would find Tari. "Oh well, hopefully she'll find me," he said to himself.

Nefertari had changed into some torn jeans and a band tee, not forgetting to bring her chucks, she walked around the park looking for Tobias and avoiding the creepy guys. Finally, she spotted him and walked over,"Hey, ready to play?", she asked, with a smile.

[Lyra ♫♪ Calnote]

Lyra walked to the park, opening the gates. She received a text from Tobias asking if she wanted to play dodgeball. It was a while since she played night-time dodgeball and today was nice weather. "TK!" Lyra called out- okay, maybe calling out wasn't a great idea but she found him and Tari.

Tobias smiled upon seeing two of his favorite people. "I am very much ready to play," he replied to Tari. "Here," Tobias said, as he handed out a glowstick necklaces to Tari and Lyra. He cracked one for himself and shook it up before placing it around his neck. In the near-complete-darkness, the soft green glow of his necklace shined brightly. "Here's the rules, try not to injure people or lose the dodgeballs. If you get hit, laugh and then try to get revenge. Lastly, have fun."

"Hey Lyra", she greeted her brightly and cracked the glowstick, putting it around her neck. It had been a while since she had played dodgeball this late, she nodded when Tobias said the rules and laughed,"Okay."
