Artemis walked along the avenue with Tobias by her side. She smiled as they were looking around getting to know the place better. "Its nice out" She said trying to make conversation as she looked around.

Artemis nodded a bit as she looked at a few stores. SHe Tobias space off a bit. She tugged on his sleeve a bit. "You alright?" She asked giving him a small smile.

Tobias turned and looked at Artemis. He smiled back at her and reassuringly told her, "I'm fine, just taking in the view." He peered through the windows of a few stores. "Did you want to go into a store?"

Artemis nodded when he reassured her. She smiled a bit as she looked around as well. "Oh no that alright I would attempt to dress you up" She joked a bit smirking up to him. "Oceanside is really different" She said.

Tobias faked a look of horror at her suggestion of dressing him up then laughed. "Do you mean it's different because the students have powers or something else?" he asked her.

Carson turned and noticed Artemis who was with another boy she didn't recognize. She grinned. She would feel a bit more comfortable around them. After all, Artemis was her room mate, even if she'd barely said two words to her.
"Hey there!" Carson said as she walked up between them. She was still carrying her skateboard under her arm.
"Where you two headed?" She asked. She was beginning to warm up to the people here. Better late then never, she thought.

Artemis let you a laugh as she saw the look on his face. She covered her face with her hands for a second. "Oh well...sort of"S he said shrugging. "Well I was the only one with powers where I came from...and it just looks so different" She said.

"Why hello there," Tobias greeted Carson. He gave the new girl a smile and extended a hand for a handshake. "We're just walking. No plans for now," he answered her question. Tobias turned back to Artemis and nodded to her in understanding.

Artemis waved slightly to Carson. She smiled when she came over here looking away slightly. "Everytime" She whsipered to herself. "Yeah Tobias and I are just looking around I dont really know where anything is"S he said noticing her bored.

Carson grabbed Tobias's hand and shook it loosely. "I'm Carson. I see you've met Artemis. We're room mates." She said, looking over at Artemis. "Everyone seems so friendly here, it's crazy." Carson clasped her arms behind her head. An aloof and lazy grin was plastered on her face.

Artemis nodded slightly as Carson spoke. "Not every one is who they seem Carson" She said turning away. She sort of leaned against Tobias but not really. "But..thats just me" She shrugged a bit.

Tobias glanced at Artemis as he felt her brush against him. He wondered what she meant by her comment and made a mental note to ask her later.

Artemis looked up to Tobias regaining her balence. SHe didnt want to lay on Tobias...SHe looked to carson awkwardly as they were all silent.
