I was under the impression that things in the general category, as this is, were OOC.

It's still under OOC, she just still conveys the same personality and tone as her characters. It's still her opinion though.

Well she shouldn't. She shouldn't say things as her character would, she should say things as she would.

And that's exactly how she said it. She truly did feel that way.

... maybe next time make your criticism a bit more constructive? ... I don't mean to say that you should dampen your thoughts and feelings, Cal, but maybe just phrase them a little bit nicer.

I thought I should say something here, but HM Maria pretty much said everything that I would have said, so I'm just going to say this to Cal: maybe next time make your criticism a bit more constructive? I feel like opting for the 'brutal as fuck' honesty was not the best thing you could have done. I appreciate your honesty, but the general tone of your post was actually kind of hurtful. Maybe its just me, but (even rereading it now) it sounds snotty and demeaning, and when I read this whole thread for the first time, your tone affected the tone of the other's posts. I don't mean to say that you should dampen your thoughts and feelings, Cal, but maybe just phrase them a little bit nicer. Please. Wait, are you serious? Are you fucking serious? She DID give constructive criticism. If she just said "OH I HATE THIS IT'S BULLSHIT." Then that would just be spite and anger. We're graphics students. We can handle criticism no matter how goddamn harsh it is. Don't be such a fuckin pushover, numbnuts. I also do not care if you are hurt by this. I am infuriated with your incompetence. Also, Cal's post did not in any way affect the tone in my post. I felt that I was rather polite in my post. You're just too fucking daft to differentiate tones from one another. Here's the blatant truth: SOME PEOPLE JUST WON'T LIKE A NEW LAYOUT CAUSE IT'S NEW. No matter how much hard work you put into coding there will be the many or few who dislike it.

Okay, Sel, baby - thank you for getting me. I know you and I have roleplayed together for a long time now and you understand that when I'm in character, I'm in their mentality too. I love you.
Dupont, babe. What I did was not the best thing I could have done but it's what I did. If you can't see the constructive quality to it - that's cool. I don't care, since it wasn't directed at you. If you found the general connotation hurtful, that's cool too, but I am not going to rephrase everything from now on with tact just because you want me to or are 'suggesting' it. I won't phrase things nicer, I won't sugar coat jack shit Dupont and I am really... not sorry about it. As for influencing the tone of everyone else, thanks for insinuating they can't think or feel on their own. They posted what they wanted to and I posted what I wanted to. Deal with it.

I feel as if this conversation is deviating from the layout and beginning to become personal attacks. I'm going to ask you all to not reply to this unless you have something to say about the actual layout of the board. Anything else can be PMed. Thank you.

When you copy and paste stuff from the board you get an annoying "READ MORE HERE" type of deal. I know this is something you can remove under admin. Can you get rid of that feature please?
