Cora stifled a laugh when she saw the brownies. Now I don't have to use my powers to figure out who she likes, she thought, wiping her hands on her jeans. Since the hall was empty, Cora could focus easily on the way Jamie was acting.
Cora laughed quietly, enjoying herself as she formulated a plan.

Artemis stirred lightly in her sleep. "Shut up" She grumbled really so herself could hear. She heard more then two voices..;one oh so familiar voice. Her eyes shot open as she sat up erect in her bed still above the covers. She saw Cora there. then Carson."Hey" She said looking around running a hand through her hair. Her eyes scanned her room as she saw Jamie. Her eyes widened as she narrowed them not going to start anything now.

Carson eyed the plate of brownies, then eyed Jamie, and then eyes the brownies once again. Great. All she needed was a chance to embarrass herself by showing Jamie what a pig she was when it came to eating. She'd probably have devoured them, plate and everything already if she hadn't been holding herself back. "We can stay here, I was just afraid of what Artemis will think when she wakes up and sees her arch nemesis in her room..." Carson joked. Although, she still was a bit frightened about how Artemis may react.

"Oh, I was hoping to get that type of reaction. Hello, Cora, Witch." Jamie replied smirking as he offered Carson the brownies hoping she would eat them. He would be awfully disappointed if she didn't touch them.

"Speak of the devil..." Carson said as she noticed Artemis now awake. She sighed. She had nothing against Artemis, and was just kidding around, but she knew Jamie wasn't. She eyed the brownies again, tentatively grabbing one and using all her willpower to keep herself from eating it in one huge bite. She didn't want to come across as sloppy or obnoxious, (even though she was) so she took tiny, cautious bites, which made her look as if she was afraid the brownie was poisoned.

Artemis was slightly happy everyone ignored her. She melled brownies...and was glad her and nick were getting froyo she hadnt been there yet. Artemis yawnd and stood out of bed glarring at Jamie as she pulled a pair of skinny jeans and a blue top from her drawr and went to change. She were slipped on her shoes and sat back on her bed waiting for nick.

Cora smiled politely. She could practically see flames in the eyes of Artemis. She could make Artemis fall head-over-heels for Jamie, but decided against it. She had no idea how Artemis would take it. And judging by the level of fiery hate that she had let manifest in the room in a matter of seconds, she decided that she wouldn't see the light of day if she did.
Cora decided that she should make Jamie just ask Carson out. She was itching to see if Carson would act like something other than a skater girl when she was fancied by a boy.

Smiling Jamie took the plate and stepped into the room and arched an eyebrow at Artemis. "Nice bed head Chica." Jamie replied smirking as he leaned on the wall farthest from Artemis, Mostly for his own safety, And partly for the safety of Artemis.

She gave him an evil look as she made sure her hair was fixed before standing up and walking to the door. "Nick" She said with a smile. She turned to glare at Jamie. Then nodded to the two girls.."Nick these are my room mates and the devil. Cora, Carson and Evil Green lantern boy Jamie" She said with a smile.

Artemis almost lit his hair on fire creating a ball in her hands. She turned to nick. "Shall we go...before Houdini Hall burns to the ground" She said

Cora smiled when Artemis introduced Jamie to Nick. "It's nice to meet you, Nicholas. It is Nicholas, right?" she inquired politely. She probably sounded unfit for a girl with a messy ponytail and her father's sweatshirt. She blushed, looking down at her scruffy Converse.
Cora took a brownie, thanking Jamie. She nibbled at the chocolaty goodness, letting it get stuck to the roof of her mouth. They reminded her of Vermont, on the snowy winter days when Luke, Jess, and herself would burst in, rosy cheeks and snow down our shirts, hunting for the warm brownies her mother would make and the cups of hot chocolate or coffee, depending on our age. We would happily wolf down the food, run to change, and spend a the night in front of the fire decorating the Christmas tree with shimmering ornaments.
