Toshie laughed softly at his statement, she couldn't tell what he meant by that, but just let it slide on by anyway. "You're so funny, Derek," she said tiredly, "I think I myself am exhausted though... So I'll be making my way back to the Einstein Hall." Toshie walked over to the door, "I'll see you around."
She walked out the door, quietly closing it to not disturb any sleeping neighbors.

Damn. Derek really didn't know what to do with that girl. Shrugging the thoughts of Toshie from his mind, he slid back under his sheets and laid his head down to rest.

Vergil was curled up asleep in his bed still without a card out, without having changed from his day clothes, when his phone gave a ring. He stirred and sleepily searched for it under the covers and found it somehow, "Hallo..?" Mr. Isao was on the other line and asked him if he could come in to help right now, they had a lot of customers. He said something positive though it was a little sleep slurred and his boss made a thankful remark in return, asking him to bring Toshie if he could before he hung up.
Getting up was hard but he did it and he headed off to shower then came back to get into his uniform with his wallet in his pocket and his tome in his arms. He texted Toshie as he walked out.

Derek groaned as he got up. He lay in bed for a minute, staring at the ceiling. My sleep schedule is officially screwed up. He changed out of the clothes he wore last night, and slept in, hoping some of the blood would wash out. But he'd worry about that later. Quickly getting on a new set of clothes, he figured that a nice walk in the grounds would do him well. Maybe he'd run into Tahlah again, and be able to relax again.
Quickly searching his old jeans for a note, he looked it over. All the names were crossed off. Flipping out his phone, he texted, "Everything is done. Disposing of the gear." He took off a cheap watch he was given, and the earpiece, and quickly shocked them in his hand. Tossing the remains in the trash, he grabbed his real leather watch and made his way to the grounds.

Vergil laid in bed feeling quite disgusting. His head was pounding and whenever he felt too hot, it was too cold and when it was too cold, it was too hot- he just a mess. He tried to sleep on his side, couldn't on his stomach for some reason, and sleeping on his back just made him ache, so he had resorted to sitting up against the wall with sniffles while blinking in and out of existence. Müde ...[data]Translation: Tired...

Vergil had been napping for a long while now, eventually forcing him awake for the night to nocturnally explore his room and perhaps the halls of the dorm building or even walk out to try and induce sleepiness again. He stood and looked around the room, finding it empty, but he learned to ignore that now. Wherever Derek went was his business. He rubbed his eyes and stood next to his bed a little lost in his night shirt and boxer shorts.

Somewhere between debating on a bath and curling back up, Vergil ended up tucked into a corner of the room with his sketchbook to draw little nonsenses. It started out as a sketch of a raven and eventually melted into a drawing of Mykel, then one of Tahlah, then Toshie joined the page. People were just on his mind.

Vergil received a text from Mykel and replied easily then went back to sketching in his book. He lost interest quickly however and left the book open at his feet, knees tucked into his chest as he stared off into the dark. God.. he felt tired but he was restless now.

Mykel hummed to himself, sparking lightly as he knocked gently on Vergil's door. "Hey Wings. 'S me, can I come in?"

Vergil nodded then felt like an idiot for doing so, verbalizing his positive reply, "Ja, ov kaurse." He wondered how Mykel was doing since the last time he saw him.

Opening the door quietly so that it wouldn't squeak and wake others, Mykel slipped in, sparking a bit to see Vergil easier. He shut the door, and hung a ball of sparks in mid-air, the dim light not as harsh as turning on the room's lights. "You okay, kid?"

Vergil looked up to Mykel from his corner and nodded then made to stand as to not seem rude. He gathered up his sketchbook from the floor and his pencil to set them on his desk and went to sit on his bed, patting it for Mykel to join him, "Komm und sit. I du noht expehkt yu tu stahnd the ehntyre time."

Smiling softly, Mykel took a seat next to his friend, staring at his "spark-sun". "You ever want to be a spark? Or the waves or something?" He asked softly, not really expecting a reply.

Vergil smiled and tucked his legs up again. Mykel was just inspired sometimes, and he found it adorable, "I haff vanted tu be a bihrd. They juhst.. ah... luk so free?" It was true. They spread their wings and took off and saw the world so differently than they did, not even people on airplanes probably understood what it meant to be truly free like that... Flug allowed him to have a taste of that.

A small laugh. "They do, don't they. But.... something inanimate. That's why I said sparks, or waves. Or even the sun. Something that can't die." Mykel smiled, placing a hand on Vergil's shoulder.
