"They do go away, and I hope it won't take too long. Don't like mon frere sick, you see." He said softly, still lightly petting the other's frame. "Shall I go?"

Vergil sat up when another, a person not being his "brother," entered the room. This was probably the first time he had seen his roommate. "Ah, ja, evhureetheeng ess fine.. Herr Jay-dehn ess ett?" He was pretty sure that was the name of his junior roommate as weird as the arrangement was. He looked to Mykel and smiled, putting his hand on his, "Ett ess uhp tu yu eff yu leef. Goh eff yu vant tu."

It took Derek a few moments to decipher the words spoken, but he realized that he must be mistaken by the previous roommate. He shook his head and said, "Oh, I am not Jayden, it seems that the headmistress had moved him to the lower floor. I am Derek, I just arrived. And you two are?"

Vergil blinked in surprised and looked around to realize his roommate had in fact left. How didn't he notice that before... Regardless, he gave the newcomer a wave and offered him a polite smiled, "I ahm Vergil von Wulf, Herr Dairek. Vilkommen. Du yu need halp movfeeng en?"

Mykel raised his free hand, sparking. "Mykel Rahs, Senior and Vergil's friend and brother figure. Hurt him, I hurt you, got it?" He flashed a smile that looked more like a snarl. "Need some help moving in?"

Derek nodded to both. "Everything I own is in that duffel bag, so no need. And Mykel, I'll take that warning seriously."

Vergil laughed a little nervously and put the hand that had been on Mykel's on his shoulder instead, like he would a dog's collar, to try and "restrain" him from being a little too excited, "Eff yu ahre zhure, Herr Dairek." Before he could ask him about how he liked the school so far, he got up from the bed and skittered down the hall to find the bathroom again.

Mykel sighed, a few sparks of his own trailing Vergil. "Poor kid." He mumbled, then turned to Derek. "Sorry if I came off as mean, I'm just close to him." He explained.

Derek chuckled at the statement. A small smile formed and he replied, "No need to apologize, I know exactly how you feel. Perhaps you should go after him and see if he's okay."

Vergil had come back after a few dry heaves, leaning against the door frame like he had earlier when Mykel knocked, as Derek spoke, "I ahm fine, juhst a leetle buhg." He waved a hand as if it was nothing, onyx beads wrapped around his right arm clacking together with the motion.

Mykel pulled Vergil to him, cuddling the boy close. "Poor dear."

Derek smiled at the bond the two shared. It felt unusual, but at this point in his life nothing surprised him. He chuckled, and proceeded to unpack his belongings.

Vergil finally managed to pry himself away from his protective "brother" with some work. He excused himself from the presence of Derek and Mykel, welcoming Derek to Oceanside before he left for a walk. Fresh air sounded really good right now so he snatched his tome, brought the strap over his head to let it hang across him, and walked out with the book bumping against his hip with every step.

Looking up, Derek's eyes narrowed at the announcement. An emergency? On his first day? This was just setting up to be one of the many books he read. Sighing, he stopped unpacking and made his way to the auditorium.
