"There's an arena?" He asked Artemis. He suddenly had a vision of himself decked out in a roman soldier's uniform ready to fight a lion. He smiled to himself and tried to hold back a chuckle. "What does one do in said arena?" he continued to ask.
Peter turned around so the railing was supporting his lower back. He gripped the bar on either side of him and titled his head up, stretching his neck out. He looked at her with curiosity when she mentioned the Hercules hall. "You're in Hercules?" he asked. He hadn't thought much about what division her powers were in, but it'd be cool to know someone in his own division. "What did you do?"

Artemis inhaled the crisp air as the sun had finally fully set letting the stars shine bright. She let her hair fall out of her pony tail as she jumped up on the railing trying to keep herself from falling. After a few moments she turned up as Peter spoke. "The Arena? Well it Varies from person to person. You have different abilities so It changes for the person sort of" She shrugged hoping he would understand. "Ill show you some time I mean..If you want to"
She smirked as she remembering the boy who had taunted her and made her flip out. No Im not in Herc hall. Im uh in Houdini Hall but we have a way to get to other halls past curfew" She laughed with a shrug. "And I sort of freaked. Tore out all f the metal in the room and latched onto the boy. I melted the floor around him to.Poor kid passed out. I had to pay to rebuild herc hall" She told him.

"What do you do in the arena, though? Fight?" he asked. It didn't seem like something that a school would, well, promote, but Peter couldn't think of anything else that an arena would be used for. Unless it held some sort of games.
"Wow, you seen to have a bit of a temper," he said, looking up at her. "Should I watch my back around you? I don't doubt that you could take me out in an instant," he laughed. He lifted his hand from the railing and ran his fingers through his hair. "What other powers do you have, by the way? I know you have fire, or heat or whatever, but what else?"

Artemis pressed her lips to a line. "Oh right Um yeah we fight. We practice our powers against one another at times or just by ourselves" She shrugged turning her body to look at him a bit better. "Its just about the only designated area were aloud to fight using our powers with out getting into trouble. But then again it doesnt really stop a few of us" She laughed a little of her dark side hinting with her laugh.
"Me temper? Never" She smirked looking at him with a small smirk. "I used to have a temper it has gotten...A lot better since I went back home for the break. However watching your back? You should always watch your back. You never know who you can and cant trust around here" She told him. Giving him a warm smile she took a deep breath in. He was nice t talk to. And he was new so he didnt really know anything about her past r anything else around here really.
Once he asked about her powers she smiled with a slight shrug. "There not the coolest. But I can control Fire. Air and Earth. Just really create and manipulate them. Nothing so great" She shrugged. Missy wasnt one who 'loved' or bragged abut her powers. They were cool and all and s far they helped her win her first match but still.

Peter listened as Artemis explained the Arena. "Mmm, I thought that might be it," Peter said. He sighed, "I guess there's not much I can do with that, then. But if you ever fight, I'll totally come out and support you!" He had only seen Artemis use her powers at the beach, and was keen to see her use them more.
He paused in his thoughts when she mentioned using her powers outside of the arena. "Do you mean to say that you fight outside of the arena, or just use your powers like you did at the beach?" he asked her. "I'm not saying its bad or anything if you do, I'm just curious."
When Artemis spoke about having to always watch your back, Peter got confused. "What do you mean?" he asked her, "why can't you trust the other people here?" He had wondered in the short time since he discovered his powers if he would be a 'hero' or a 'villain'. He could see both benefits and disadvantages to both, but he hadn't swung any particular way. Peter wondered if that's what Artemis meant- that the students were on two different sides of the spectrum. He was curious as to what side she was on.
Peter tried to hide the fact that he was fairly disappointed with his own powers. As Artemis told him about her powers, he found himself jealous, and wishing that he could do more than just heal himself. True, he had the protection, but he couldn't do any real damage to anyone with powers like Artemis' or Penelope's. He wondered if there were other students with defensive powers or other powers like his. Maybe they could form a club. They'd call it, 'The Sit Around and Not Fight For Anything Club.' SANDDAC, for short, naturally.

"Yeah thats what it for" She nodded as She shifted slightly on the railing flailing almost once again. Inhaling she looked at Peter. Hearing his comment about the arena she shook her head. "Oh no. Dont think that. Hell You can partner up. Im sure having you on there side will keep them in game for a lot longer. And you? Maybe a little bruises but your abilities could help tremendously" She laughed telling him.
As She looked to peter he seemed confused. She shrugged a bit looking around heating up the wind around them. "Well yeah I mean. You cant trust a lot of people. But maybe thats just me?" She gave him a small smirk. She knew about the people here.At least the ones who knew her as well. Who was leaning towards being a Hero and or A villain. She even knew one who was undecided. But she usually got a vibe around people...But around Peter it was different. She wasnt sure which side he was on if any at all.
Looking up she blinked seeing his smile fade slightly. She wondered if he was okay but didnt want to press the matter. "Im sorry I must be rambling on about who knows what" She looked at him with a smile.

"I'll take your word for it," Peter said, "But I don't see myself being much help in a fight." He looked up towards the top of the tower, still sort of exploring the area while he was speaking to Artemis. "What sorts of people can't you trust?" he asked. "I don't mean to push, I'm just curious."
He looked to Artemis to try and read her expression- to see if she was confused or bored or anything that he should take note of. Maybe also to see a hint of what 'side' she was on. As he tried to see what she was thinking, he thought to himself about how he should just ask her straight up. He told himself that he would do so if she didn't tell him what he was hoping to know about her in her reply.

(Yeah the name is Bamf I know)
Artemis shrugged. "Well your choice" She said smiling as she looked up to the sky snapping her fingers letting flames ignite on the tips of her fingers then extinguish over and over. "What kinds?" She shook her head at Peter. "Oh no its ok. Well you see...every one here, well were not all on the same page. Some of us dont see eye to eye really" She shrugged as she ran her hand through her hair. "Really...I dont think you have anything to worry about just yet you seem uh...like you would fit in" She quotes 'fit in' with her fingers. She looked at him as she chewed her lip. She seemed maybe he would become a Hero. But She didnt know.

(Very Bamf name)
"I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand," Peter said. "Um, what things are there that people don't see eye to eye on? I mean, am I correct in thinking that there are different types of 'supers' here?" he asked. "You know, like... um, heroes and villains?" Peter had to just come out and say it, he didn't know what else to do. He wondered, if he was right about there being heroes and villains, what side Artemis was on.
He found it curious that people at such young ages (they were only teenagers, after all, still kids, even) could think that way. He assumed that everyone thought that they were doing the right thing, that the villains didn't necessarily think of themselves as 'villains' in the traditional sense. That was true with any conflict- everyone thinks that their side is the good side. He wondered what Artemis' position was on some of the conflicts between stereotypical heroes and villains.

Missy turned around. She he wasnt on any particular side yet. She shook her head there was a small part of her that knew it.She sighed. "You mean your not a he-"" She stopped and smirked."Um well" She didnt really know how to clarify it. "You see we have Heroes here and Villains. We chose what side we want to follow. No we dont go around telling others. Because most of the kids here look down upon us I guess. Like were doing something wrong" She shrugged. She looked at him with a small smirk.
It was weird. Her and Penny never really talked about begin who they were...they sort of just already knew. From the first day they met. And they could tell who was what at times. And so far only a few had been on there side. She shrugged at the thought. "Were not all heartless you know or evil. We just know what we want."

"And what is it that you want?" Peter asked her. He knew everything that she was telling him already- that 'villains' weren't heartless and evil. He was sure that some heroes would think so, but most villains probably thought that the hopes of heroes were ridiculous and not even all that helpful. He was still on the fence, but, after speaking with Artemis, he was leaning towards her side.

"What do I want?" She blinked as she looked at him. "I want world domin-" She stopped and started laughing shaking her head. "I-" She stopped. What exactly did she want? Taking a minutes she furrowed her brow. "I guess what I want is...to be known? Treated like were like Im someone" She shrugged. She hated how the Heroes were always being praised and liked. It was time that they had there fun to. "I mean..we have our powers for a reason. Why hide them? Why dont we actually do something" She shrugged and turned around. "Meh Just bothers me how Being a hero everyone thinks your amazing. BUt when your a villain, every thinks your the bad guy. Were not always...sort of"

"There's nothing wrong with that," Peter said. "I'm sure there are billions of people who want the same thing, or at least something similar." He paused, and looked at her. "Do you, um, do you think that what you believe in is evil? What I mean to say is, do you consider yourself a villain- that what you do and what you want to do is bad or evil?"
He understood what Artemis was saying about using their powers. "What do you want to use your powers for?" he asked her, curious.

She narrowed her eyes as he spoke. "Yeah Im sure there are tons" She said a little sarcastically. It wasnt like everyone in the world was a super and not that many of the kids here were villains or even undecided fr that matter. "What I believe in?" Missy looked at him with a small shrug. "Not always I mean...to you your going to think what your doing is god no matter what. Since your doing it. But...I mean no I personally dont" She stopped nd smirked with a light sigh. "Am I a villain?" Missy jumped off of the railing and took a step closer. She uncrossed her hands over her chest and snapped her fingers letting the tips ignite. "Yeah. Im a villain" She said looking away.
"What for?" Artemis took in a cold sharp breath. "Im not really sure. To have fun, I guess is the main reason. Show the others who arent like us that...they shouldnt have treated us any differently when we were younger. To get what we want small things like.." She thought for a moment. "Having people do what we want. Make them have to work for us instead of the other way around" Artemis was just being true to herself. She hated being treated second hand.

“You don’t have to have powers to do something meaningful,” Peter reminded her. “That’s what they tell us in kindergarten, right? That we don’t have to have superpowers to be a hero, and then they have firemen and policemen come in and tell us how cool it is to save people and stop the ‘bad guys’,” Peter laughed at that idea. Had he known that superpowers existed he never would have gone with that idea.
“I agree with you,” Peter said. “Not to be cliché, but look at Hitler- he thought that he was ridding the world of vermin, he thought he was doing the world a favor. Everyone thinks that they’re the hero and the other side is the bad guys.”
Peter listened as Artemis explained what she wanted to use her powers for, occasionally saying ‘mmm’ or ‘yeah’ when he heard her say something that he agreed with or thought was a good idea. She mentioned wanting people to work for her, not the other way around, which prompted a thought that he then asked her about. “Do you know what you want to do? After you’re done with school?” He couldn’t see a very professional career that involved just Artemis’ powers. She could maybe be a bank robber or something similar, which, while it’d be very sexy, was not something one could put on a business card
