Toshie was wandering about, bored. It was the last night of the Labor Day weekend and she really should be getting sleep, but she really didn't feel like it. Somehow, she made made it over to the fountain. As pretty was it was, she was perplexed as to what had pulled her over. As the confused Toshie approached it, she once again saw Rhys sitting by his lonesome.
She wandered up behind him, making sure he wouldn't notice her in anyway. "BOO!" she yelled, popping her hands out with an amused look on her face.

It'd be nice to run into her sometime soon again, Rhys thought, blankly looking at her name on phone screen and contemplating texting her. Just then, though, she jumped out from behind him.
"Oh, hey there!" said Rhys, smiling brightly. "And what's a pretty girl like you doing out on a night like this?" he teasingly flirted.

A wide grin plastered onto her face when he called her pretty. She didn't know why she felt so giddy around him right now. Normally she felt really awkward and what not. However, she did not scare him the way she had intended in the first place. She placed her hands behind her back and sat next to him.
The, now, pouty Toshie looked up at him with smiling eyes, "Awh, I didn't scare you!" She pushed him lightly, giggling a bit.

Rhys chuckled as Toshie pushed him. He nudged her back with his shoulder. "Well, my secret ability, actually, is to tell whether a person is scary or cute," he told her in a stately voice. He gazed at her and leaned a bit closer to her. "You're definitely not scary," he whispered just loud enough, winking at her.

Toshie tinged a light pink as she yawned, covering her open mouth with her left hand. Catching a glimpse of the time, her eyes widened at the time it was. Oh god! She had to go to bed; she was going to be a wreck the next morning if she didn't get some sleep. She flustered about; Toshie had finally gotten a hold of Rhys, but had to go to bed.
Finally she decided, "Hey, it's pretty late. I'm gonna head back to the dorms. I'll see you later!" She got up and scurried way. Smooth one, Toshie, even though you two basically have the same classes you can barely talk to him. she sighed as she grew farther and farther away from the boy.

Sunglee lazily moved along, arms crossed behind his head. Where was he headed? Well, apparently the fountain, because that's where he decided to stop and relax. He sat down on the edge and peered down into the water behind him. He was swaying his head back and forth to the tune in his head. Like always, the music got the better of him, and he began to sing out loud. "No I can't stop thinkin' 'bout you girl." It was a song by a Korean band. One he rather enjoyed the music of, and often felt the urge to sing the melodies of. Of course, he didn't often, as not many people here were lovers of Korean music.

Daphne was out for a walk. Something she seemed to do a lot of lately. It wasn't long before she found herself at the fountain, her eyes following the sound of singing. The moment they found Sunglee she smiled, chuckling lightly. He really loves singing. Like... a lot. The past two times she'd seen him he was singing. The time before that he'd talked about singing and karaoke with Lyra. She smiled again, making her way over and sitting beside him. "What song is that?" She asked, looking to him curiously.

Sunglee had been completely lost in his own world as he sang that he didn't even notice Daphne coming over and sitting beside him. So, when she spoke to him, it startled him out of his whits. "AAH!" He hollered and jumped, losing his balance to fall backwards into the water. The cold water was a shock and at the same time refreshing, for the sun was bright and high in the sky. He pushed himself up with his hands and regained himself, but he was still in the water. His eyes were wide and be blinked rapidly a few times. "Daphne!" He pulled himself out of the fountain and stood holding his arms out as the all the water dripped from the fabric of his clothes. "I really need to stop day dreaming. People are gonna give me a heart attack." He turned to Daphne and smiled nevertheless. "Hey! it's nice to see you again! Uh...The song...it's a Korean pop song, called 'U' by Super Junior." He tried ringing out the fabric of his clothes a little bit and sat down again, though keeping a small distance from Daphne so he didn't get her wet. "How are you?"

Daphne jumped up when he fell, suddenly feeling pretty awful. She hadn't tried to surprise him. She probably should have realized he was daydreaming though. He seemed to do that a lot. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to surprise you..." She started, biting her lip as she sat back down. "I'm good though. Classes were boring as usual, but I think that's to be expected. How've you been? I mean... aside from the whole falling into the fountain thing just now. Which was totally my fault. Which, I am sorry for.... I'm going to stop talking now," She smiled, chuckling and looking away from him. He daydreamed, she rambled. She was trying to not do it. She was getting better about it, just not quite there yet.

Sunglee just sat there in silence and listened with wide eyes and raised brows. It was bringing him to one single conclusion. "You know something? you're cute." He smiled, and even gave her cheek a gentle poke. "But don't worry about it. It's not your fault. I was the one not paying any attention to my surroundings." He relaxed and placed his hands back on the stone edge, leaning on them. "And yes, classes are boring. I fell asleep in one of mine today, and got smacked with a book for it." He smirked a little. To him, it was kind of funny. "Granted, I've been falling asleep in that class every day this week...so I can't really blame the teacher for getting angry."

When he poked her cheek Daphne blinked a few times, a little shocked for a moment, then smiled, laughing. "You know... no one has ever really called me cute. Geeky, funky, punky, the list goes on, but never cute." That was an interesting turn of events, but it was fun. This guy was full of happy surprises. He was entertaining. "I can't say I fall asleep a lot... I usually read. Or something other than paying attention. I always get A's though... so the teachers don't seem to mind." She chuckled.

Sunglee stared at Daphne in disbelief. "You've never been called cute before!? How is that even possible!?" He had a little spazz attack, flailing his arms in the air. "I refuse to believe that!" To him, she was cute, and funny, and pretty and certainly easy to get along with! And, his hyper personality didn't seem to annoy her. "Oh, I fall asleep in classes all the time. I wouldn't be surprised his have of my teachers snapped soon and formed a mob to beat me down. I'm a horrible student." She smirked, the tip of his tongue peeking out at the corner of his mouth. "Well, I'm a horrible student in classes I'm not interested in. If they do interest me, I'm actually a pretty hard worker." He let out a content sigh.

"Maybe a couple of times when I was little. Past that though I think a lot of the time it gets lost in the genius side of me. When you listen to someone ramble on for ten minutes about the quantum mechanics of time or molecular physiology any semblance of attractive qualities fade. Very quickly." Daphne chuckled, looking over to Sunglee. "I don't think you're a horrible student. Just... easily distracted. That's nothing to feel bad about. It'll even out later." She smiled.

Sunglee thought for a moment. "I don't think that's true. Your brains should only enhance your beauty." He tilted his head from side to side, staring out at the grass and the trees and the birds that hopped around. "Well, that's what I think at least. It's impressive that you know stuff like that, even if I don't understand it, and that's a part of what makes you, you! It's a part of what makes you beautiful." He smiled watching a pair of squirrels chase each other around. "Well, maybe." He smirked, looking over at her with happy eyes.

Daphne was staring off, watching the squirrels running around. "I guess that's one way to look at it. Not a very common one though, mind you. I think you're the first one to say that. I've never really thought of it that way. I guess that spurs from the way most people have always treated me. Growing up I was always the one no one understood. The weird smart kid. Of course it didn't help that I knew stuff before it happened," Daphne said, looking up now, smiling. "Thank you though. It's really sweet of you to say that. Not many people see that, just like I can imagine not a lot of people find you as entertaining as I do." She chuckled.
