Jasper flipped up the lid to his Lap top turning it on. He looked up to see her move and nodded. "I know what you mean" He chuckled sitting up and leaning against the tree.
"I have been surviving the High school of Supernatural life" He chuckled. "More or less hanging in there I have been confined to my room as of late with this homework" He said. "How have you been?"

"I've been good, I got to see my brother because of the long weekend so that was cool. The load of homework that came from procrastinating is not though", Tari replied, laughing lightly.
"It's nice out today", she remarked enjoying the breeze, making it swirl around the tree.

Jasper nodded watching Tari create wind. "Your powers are very cool" He said admiring them and her. "I hope seeing your brother was good for you nice and peaceful" He said watching the wind.
"I didnt really do anything. My parents came down from Mississippi and stayed at the Hotel. It was uh...nice I guess"

Jasper raised his brow shaking his head. "Oh yes. My powers are great. Scaring the shit out of others and causing-" He stopped shaking his head. "Ok yeah your kinda right" He chuckled a bit. "But getting into someone's mind and making them either die or have amnesia...yeah lame" he shrugged.

"Well, if you could control it-which is what we're here for- then I think your power has a lot of potential. Plus in a confrontation, it'd probably help you a lot", she said encouragingly,"With me, it's a bit harder. Because the other person probably wouldn't live if I was really trying to hurt them", she replied.
It was frustrating that the only way she could really inflict damage on a person with her powers was if she drowned them or suffocated them. Lame.

Jasper nodded as she spoke. It sounded like she really didnt like her powers."Well they could live...hopefully if you worked on it? Maybe" He said shooting out ideas. It was pretty easy for him to kill a person if he wanted to like his neighbor... Thats day with his father and the accident with his mother. Jasper shivered. "I bet you could make a magic carpet fly" he nudged her.

"Hello? Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Melrose?" Holden shuffled around the school grounds attempting for what felt like the sixtieth time to call his older sister. First day of classes was rough, especially when one has absolutely no clue where to go. And now his last hope of a tour guide won't even answer her phone. Top notch. "Melrose I'm dying here. Please call me back. I need your help, okay? Love. Love. Love. Love. " Holden hung up the phone and groaned loudly for all the world to hear.
He wandered about looking for her, yet never found any luck. Where could she be? She had to be on campus. You can't go into the city during the week days. What, was she invisible now? Was that like a new gift or something?
"Heeeey. Have you guys seen a tall, blond girl recently? She runs a lot? Commonly referred to as Melrose?" Holden boldly asked two bystanders under a tree.

Mykel bolted down easily, showing off as usually, and tapped Tari's shoulder. "Heyy~!" He grinned, eyes a bit red, not sparking as much as he usually did. "How's my favorite time-stopper?"

She looked up as a boy wandered over to them, talking on the phone. He sort of seemed like a kid after school, wondering why their mother was taking forever to pick them up. Awwww. Okay wait, the adorable kid has asked a question, after registering it Nefertari smiled,"Melman? Actually I haven't seen her recently, sorry. How do you know Speedy Gonzales?", she asked with a friendly demeanor.
Nefertari looked away from the kid and saw it was Mykel, she launched into a hug,"Mykel! I'm good, how are you?", she asked, looking at him and noticing his eyes were slightly red.
Three possibilities: He has allergies. He's been smoking the green. He's been crying. Her head moved to the side in a quick motion, showing her confusion and concern,"You okay?"

Mykel grinned, hugging Tari back. "Nah, I'm fine. Just.... been crying a lot recently. The last week was the anniversary of.... you know." He motioned to his necklace. "That, and my stupid ass nearly drowned last night." He laughed softly.

Jasper looked up seeing two new men. He waved to both of them seeing how friendly one was with Tari. "Sorry dude Im afraid I havent met her" He shrugged turning to Mykel. He nodded a polite nod.

"Uh, Melman? Nah, Melrose is a girl." Holden turned to leave but stopped himself when he realized. Melman is a nickname! Like Speedy Gonzales. Oooooh. Whoops. "I mean, yeah, Melman. She's my big sister. She was supposed to call me after school but she didn't it. I was just wondering if you've seen her. But yeah. I'm Holden Marshal. Are you a friend of hers?"
Holden looked over at the two guys next to Melrose's friend. He hadn't got the chance yet to meet any of her friends. He had certainly heard of them though. Mostly gossip though. Boy drama. Like the Aaron and Tobias saga. Miles had spilled everything to Holden while he was in the hospital. With all the drugs he had running through his system, Miles was full on tripping acid. He wasn't just tripping balls, he was tripping pokeballs. He was so far in Candyland, he practically won the game. If Miles was playing shoots and ladders he would definitely-
Were any of these guys Tobias and Aaron? Dude, that'd be legit if they were.

She gave him a half smile and an apologetic look,"Oh I see, I'm sorry", she ruffled his hair, trying to cheer him up. She never was one for dealing with emotional stuff. She was a real awkward turtle with that stuff. "You did what now?", she repeated, shaking her head,"Silly Mykel."
The kid had replied, Holden? Uncommon name,"Ohmygod, your Melrose's little brother?", she asked, grinning. Wait. That's what he just said. Why are you repeating it? Silly Tari.
"She's probably off...studying or something", she replied, what did Melrose do in her free time?"When did you come to Oceanside?", she asked, sending a text to Melrose saying she had just met her little brother and he was looking for her.

Jasper stood up and leaned against the tree. "Hey Holden Im Jasper." He stuck out his hand to be friendly. Turning to Tari he gave her a smile..He had been meaning to ask her something, But that would just have to wait.
