Artemis felt cold. Everything was black to her. She felt like she could move and walk around but...nothing was happening. Feeling being moved and rustled all she could do was yell in her mind. Artemis was in a coma. A COMA She could hear herself...

Lia entered the school's infirmary, eager to see if her friend was ok. Lia had heard of the forbidden room accident from passing by a pair of teachers talking about it. After talking to the nurse at the front desk, Lia was pointed towards Artemis’ room with instructions not to touch any of the machines. She nodded and made her way into the small, square room holding her comatose friend.
Needless to say, Lia was surprised at seeing Art. The blonde girl looked like she was sleeping. Lia had been expecting something much worse. Then again, Art could have already been healed by one of the doctors the school had. Lia pulled a chair up next to the bed and took a seat. She sat stiffly, unsure of what to do or say.
Lia stayed for a few minutes and left when she saw her friend was ok.

Artemis Lay there in the bed. She looked peaceful.like she were asleep. A few cuts here and there but the Doctors and Nurses helped with the other wounds. Her mind wandered aimlessly stuck, lost in her own body inable to move to speak. BUt she could think. She felt like she could hear the outside. But was it just a dream? All of this just one of her horrible nightmares? There Artemis lay, un able to move as she drifted off into her own world. Her eyes were shut yet open under the lids. Drifting off into space she began to dream.
It was all black. Spinning rapidly down a whole. "A rabbit whole?" Spinning faster and faster yet going nowhere. No one to ask for help. No one to stop to speak to. Alone, in the dark with an orb. A large Blue orb hovering one you hit the floor. The tunnel came to an end."What th-" Looking around everything seems so familiar. Like She had been here before. Had she? It was all confusing one minute things were pitch black the next...there was an orb. What was that orb? She wanted to touch it. Walking towards it slowly unable to look away, a burning sensation was felt strongly in the pit of her stomach. It felt so real...Was this real? Why did it seem like she had seen all this before. unable to look away another voice was heard. "Nick?" She called seeing the boy right in front of her. How it seemed like en eternity since she had held Nick seen him spoke to him. Hearing his voice then Penny. Was this a night mare? Things seemed to get only better in time. A smile came to her face as she ran at Penny. By the time she got to her..Penny vanished. Just like that. "Huh" Her eyes widened looking around. Now it was just her and Nick. He seemed to be drifting farther and farther away. Closer and closer to the orb she once wanted to touch. "Nick wait!" She called walking after him. Every step she took he got farther from her. Her eye began to water. Why wouldnt anyone stay. Why did they always leave her. "Stay please" She cried out.Artemis turned seeing others from the school to. Being social and talkative...to everyone but her. In the small room they were in? They were all ignoring her walking past her or even through her. "Tobias!" She yelled seeing him just Vanish. Then Noah, vergil, Mykel. What was happening. The orb in front of her and nick began to pull both of them. Her eyes now puffy and red tried to reach out for Nick yelling his name. Screaming.Unable to do anything. A huge light from the orb surrounded them. Blinded her leaving her to see Nick lifeless on the ground. The orb still hovering gently. Artemis fell to her knees. Starring at him just laying there. Was it her fault. Hitting her fists on the floor looking around. There was no one know. The orb was now gone...Nick had vanished. Everything around her black. Once again she was falling. Unable to grab onto anything again. Soon she heard yelling painfull crying and yelling. Horrible sounds in her ear. Next thing you know she saw different things coming at her being thrown or falling on her. A loud crash was heard then a bright light. Her eyes opened and she was back in the hospital. Again unable to move...speak. In her nightmare she still sat there...crying feeling weak.
As Artemis lay there in the bed, she still looked peaceful. Her eyes still tightly shut, as she lay there unconscious.

Tobias quietly entered the infirmary and found the bed that Artemis lay upon. He pulled a chair up and sat down. "Why did you do something so stupid?" he asked her in a whisper. TK watched Artemis silently.

Tobias brushed away a strand of hair that was covering Artemis's face. He thought that it looked itchy. He placed his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands. The air felt cold. Artemis would warm the air up normally, Tobias thought.

Tobias glanced around to make sure that no one was around. Confident that he wouldn't be seen, TK leaned down close to Artemis's face. She looked the same as she always did. It was strange. It hadn't seemed like anything would happen this year (other than normal Oceanside drama) and then, in the blink of an eye, people were either dying or falling into comas. Tobias resumed a regular sitting position.

Tobias tilted his head. He had lost track of time while watching Artemis. "When are you going to wake up Artemis?" he asked her with a frown.

Artemis lay there. Not moving barley breathing...She looked like she was seeping able to wake at any moment...But she didnt. She was like a vegetable..Artemis lived in her mind while she was in a coma. She couldnt hear anything in the outside world...She thought she could. OR was she already awake? Things seemed so real to her in her own mind...But the only things she could see were people dieing all around her. Her mind was in a permanent Nightmare...only seeing her friends die.
Again she drifted to a dream. The damn orb again...She knew this was a dream right? Again things blurred and darkened. People appearing then vanishing. Tobias...so close to her...came to her running for a hug then he was gone. She turned and more people began to vanish. Nick was there...Not again. No no Dont touch the orb. She remembered yelling his name. Just yelling and crying over and over.
Her body felt physically and emotionally Drained. She felt herself...on the bed now. She was aware she was in the hospital but what happened. Why was she here. Her eyes unable to be opened still. Artemis began to breath heavily. Like she was running almost. Soon her body slowly moved. A flash came in her head as her eyes opened wide as she sat up yelling."NOO!"
Tears now running down her face. She gripped the bar on the side of her bed not really seeing anything from her blurred vision...But she could feel someone there. Crying when she shot up she yelled in horror for the flash showed Nick dead on the floor wich made her think she was the cause.

Tobias fell backwards out of his chair when Artemis jumped up. He pushed himself up on his hands, blinking rapidly. Nope, not a dream. She was awake. TK picked himself up off the ground and moved to the side of the bed. "Calm down, Artemis. It's okay, you're okay," he said over and over, trying to get through to Artemis.

The orb she touched made her powers stronger...like they did to Penny's a well. One second she was hot to the touch next she was freezing. She was almost flailing her arms shaking her head. "No no" She cried looking around. She didnt understand what happened...Was Tobias there with her? She tried to breath to see Tobias. "T-tobias"S he cried out shaking her head.

Tobias watched Artemis, hoping she was going to be okay. "I'm here," he told her, looking frantically for a nurse. Where were they?

Artemis heard Tobias say he was here...was he? Or would he just vanish like the dream. "No no Im dreaming your just going to leave" Her eyes were pink her face stained with tears as she sat up looking around. "What happened...where am I?'She asked. Biting her lip she just wanted to know.

"I'm not going to vanish. I'm here. You went into the forbidden room, but now you're in the infirmary," Tobias answered as a nurse came running over to Artemis's bed. TK took a step back to give the nurse some room.
Immediately, the nurse began her work.

Artemis heard Tobias talk. She didnt believe him at first...then she flashed Nicks face. She hissed and closed ehr eyes as she panicked again as the nurse came to her side. She was wiggling a bit not wanting to hold still. Artemis took the pills the nurse gave her. "Its my fault" She said. "Its my fault" She felt so weak. So vulnerable. tears ran down her face again.

The nurse gave Artemis some pills to help take the edge off the shock. "You need to relax and breathe," the nurse told Artemis with a commanding tone.
Tobias stood near the foot of the bed. "Should I leave?" he asked the nurse hesitantly.
"She should rest for tonight. I'll keep an eye on her. You can come back tomorrow," the nurse replied with a matter-of-fact tone.
Tobias nodded. "I hope you feel better Artemis," he said as he left.
