"What he said," Penny said to Hana, gesturing to Mykel. "Along with teleportation and force fields," she told her. "What can you do?" Penelope asked. Penelope rarely met someone who's powers impressed her. Most people could either manipulate one or more of the four main elements, or had some sort of super-human ability; strength, speed, et cetera. She wondered if this girl, Hana, had anything even remotely worthwhile.

A smile and wave. "Name's Mykel, by the way.” He grinned, eyes shut as he ate quietly. “Anyone know a James?” He asked softly, sipping at his water and eyeing the two girls easily. He wanted to see if this guy has any kind of rep he’d have to deal with. “Or if we have any new boys?” Yes, Mykel, clearly they pay attention to new boys. Quit sparking and listen.

"I've been a bit... busy lately. But the name does sound familiar. James Cox?" Penny asked, wondering if she was getting the name right. "Why do you ask, Mykel?" She asked him. She wondered why he wanted to know. Maybe he needed a date for homecoming? She had never really spent much time with Mykel, otherwise she would help him find someone.

“Yeah, James Cox. I’m …. Uh, I’m actually taking him to homecoming….” He shrugged, face flaming bright red. “And…. Well, I was wondering if maybe you knew anything about him? He didn’t say much last night.” Mentally slapping himself, Mykel frowned. “And as for the new boys, it’s really just new manips. I’d like to meet some other then Vergil, Ethan, the usual crowd.” Needing a way to shut himself up, he busied himself with sparks.

"Cool and no, I'm new here myself so I don't know any new boys," she shrugged, did she really have to tell them her powers? The answer was no, she really didn't, but she was bored and didn't really care either way. It's not like any of them would interfere with her work inside of the school let alone outside of the school. Although, they wouldn't get to know the full extent of her powers, now that would be a horribly dumb move.
"I can turn into a giant if I want to, or stretch my limbs without losing any strength from stretching them out." Hana never really used this power since it was so devastating to most places (ex: the apartment she had shared with Derek prior to the one she owns now). "Nothing special," she was fairly certain no one at this school had a biomass sort of character, so she'd like to keep that a secret for as long as possible(excluding the need to 'consume' others of course).

"Uh, no, I don't know much about him," Penny said. "I've never really met him. Maybe in passing, but nothing more. But, if I remember correctly, he is rather attractive, so congrats on that part!" She laughed. "I'm sure there are a ton of new manips, it seems like we get at least one new person every day. You could just go up and down Houdini knocking on doors," she said, laughing again. She nodded at Hana when she told them her powers, "Neat," was all Penny said. Turning into a giant was pretty cool, especially if she didn't lose any strength, but it was nothing out of the ordinary, like she said.

“Well, I know we have a new phys girl. I saw her out with Derek. A shifter, looks like. Seems kinda cool, shifting.” He shrugged and began to arrange his sparks. A large one, followed by a smaller, trailed his finger. After a bit, the smaller spark vanished. The large one dimmed, split into five, and vanished as well. “So true.” He muttered, watching the now-empty area they’d covered. “So very true.”

"Yeah, it's probably a very common power, but it's handy." she added nonchalantly, staring up at the ceiling. Hana's eyes popped open a bit as she heard Mykel talk about the new physical girl, thinking that he was talking about her at first, since she was with Derek the first day here. "Oh, that's cool."
Keep your cool, Hana. Maybe he's not talking about you at all. That's when she remembered, her roomie, duh! Tahlah was a shifter.
She looked to him, "Tahlah? If I recall correctly she's a shifter.. animorph kinda girl right? She's my roomate." Yeah, keep workin that trivial conversation stuff out. It'll have her blend in more and she won't be so strange to the rest of them.

"Huh," Penny said. "I don't know her." Penny didn't know a lot of people, and she had an excuse. It's hard to meet people when you're in a coma. Her eyes sort of glazed over as she thought of recent events, but she snapped back to reality quickly. She had nothing to say, but she was there, nonetheless.

I'm not hungry, so why am I here? It's so loud, I don't like it, why did I force myself to come here? The thoughts ran through a disappointed Chelsea Williams' head as she stared around the hubbub of the Dining Hall. She wasn't one for crowds, or not in her current state at least. It was bright daylight, noon, the highest point of the sun in the sky. Definitely not night. Fun.
And there was that Penelope Greene from the other two days. Ah, there were two other people--a guy and a girl. The girl was probably Asian and the guy... not Asian. That was all that she was able to glean from that. And if she had nothing to do, why not bother them. They shouldn't mind, they didn't seem to have much to do anyways and Chess was definitely not hungry.
Having made up her mind, she sauntered over. Good thing there was an extra chair there. It saved energy and the bother of asking. Slipping into the chair smoothly, she nodded in a vague greeting. It was up to them if they wanted to reply, she could do with the latter.

A new comer has arrived, Hana thought, Do all of them just sit down wherever the hell they please?. Her head was droning in and out from the loudness of the cafeteria which had filled in with more students since it was lunch time. Aggravated, Hana nodded towards the new girl and analyzed her, Eh. I'm so tired of this, probably does Manipulation; there are a lot of those manip kids here.
"Sup." Was all she could say, she now had a pounding headache as she planted her forehead against the table's surface.

"Hey," Penelope said, recognizing the board game girl. She wondered why she had come over to a half filled table when there were a dozen others. She didn't strike Penelope as one who would enjoy being with others, after all, she had sort of threatened to kill Penny when they first met. Penelope had a feeling that this was either going to be extremely awkward, or end in a fight.

"Sup."
The Asian girl did definitely not seem to be in good shape. This was surprisingly amusing to her. Most people would rather share sympathy compared to the peculiar malicious feeling that Chess was experiencing. Then again, not many people were like her. At least Penelope seemed to remember her. "Hey indeed." She murmured, temporarily resisting the urge to cross her legs as she sat down on the chair.
For a moment, the loudness of the cafeteria consumed her, throwing her into a world of echoes and sounds, of chain reactions and puppets and their masters, making her smile. Of course, everything caused had a reaction that came with it. It was such a neat rule, actually. So obvious, so easy to anticipate. However, the noise was slightly oppressing. Letting the feeling overcome her for a moment, she frowned. "So loud... how vulgar." She commented quietly and distastefully.

Hana looked back up, clenching and unclenching her fists under the table, "Vulgar is right." She grit her teeth as she looked around the room. She huffed as she grew ever more irritated at one of the students near by blabbing about how she missed her boyfriend and how her friend was telling her what to do.
It's not that she had super-hearing or anything, but they were just particularly loud.
Soon a resounding smack and crunch of bones was soon heard as the rest of the students turned silent. A clang followed as the girl dropped her tray, trembling as she stood and blood running down her nose. The fist in front of the girl could be traced back all the way to Hana, who's arm was slowly shrinking back to it's normal size.
"You're loud, you stupid bitch." Hana glared at the table, not giving the girl even the honor of being looked at.

"Woah," Penelope said, when Hana punched the girl. Penny started laughing, not necessarily at either one (though if she were, she'd be laughing at the girl with the broken nose), but more at the situation. "Nice," she said to Hana. Real mautre. Penny held those who couldn't control their power or their temper a bit below those that could.
