The Headmistresses entered the Auditorium and talked quietly amongst themselves as they waited for the students and staff to arrive.

An emergency assembly? What for? After nearly being caught out last night, and finding their way blocked out, he wasn't really in a good mood. This place was like a prison. You couldn't just leave like regular high school. This place sucked in his opinion. And yet you didn't see him leaving. Surprisingly he was the first in to the assembly, besides the teachers, standing still, leaned against the back wall with a frown on his face.

Upon arriving, she sighed, it was unfortunate they had to hold one of these. It had been a while since a student had successfully ventured in. She watched as students began to file in, most looking bored and thinking this was a drill or something about minor rules. She looked at her co-headmistress,"It's such a shame", she said in a low voice, thinking of all the wasted potential.

Vergil seated himself in the relatively same area he had been with Mykel with his tome in his lap. He fought the upturn of his stomach and sighed like he had earlier while resting under the tree. Looking up to the two Headmistress worried, he took notice that he did not like the subdued energies surrounding them both, or the worry lines etched into their faces.

Melrose shuffled into the auditorium, feeling utterly confused and dumbfounded as to the point of all this. It was rather late too to be calling for a school meeting at 8:40 at night. Couldn't everyone just wait till morning? But the fact that this was so sudden and timely unreasonable could only make Melrose wonder the true essence of the serious factor. I mean, the headmistresses did mention it being an emergency. How terrible can something be for it to be categorized as "an emergency" at Oceanside?
A wave of worry washing over, Melrose took a seat on the end of the bleachers, keeping to herself. She adjusted her shirt, flipped the hair off her shoulders, cracked her knuckles, anything really to distract her imaginative thoughts. She unfortunately couldn't spot Aaron anywhere, let alone any other prefects. Perhaps she'd be held accountable for representing them.

Lia hurried into the auditorium after hearing of the emergency assembly. She figured a school like this having an emergency of any sort would be serious business. Lia took the first seat she could find. Her mind began wondering about the different things the assembly could be about; the reasons getting worse every time.

Derek took a seat closer to the wall, and leaned down in his chair. Being the new student in a emergency would always draw unwanted attention, so Derek kept his guard up. His hands were tingling, the first time he's felt like this in a long while.

Samantha entered the auditorium. 'Why is there an emergency assembly?', she thought. 'Did something happen?' She chose a seat, and looked at the headmistresses.

Headmistress Maria finished speaking with Annabella and stepped up to the microphone. She took a deep breath. And then another. Finding it hard to speak.
After a few minutes of silence, she opened her mouth, and began, "It brings me great discomfort to have asked you all here this evening. And even more discomfort, that, as I look out to you all, there is a face missing."
"Headmistress Annabella and I thought that our warnings would be sufficient. That, despite your curiosity, you would not enter the forbidden room. But one did. And he is no longer with us."

Derek racked through his brain. He vaguely recalled a forbidden room. So it held death. But how did he die? But how did this person die, and more interesting to Derek, who was he?

Vergil blinked once and stared up to the Headmistress a little slow to process what she meant. He wanted to believe she meant he was expelled but that wouldn't strike the need to bring them all here tonight. He was dead. He had to be dead.

Startled from his grumpy mood, James's eyebrows went up in surprise. No way, someone got into the room? But who? And what had they seen. And how it had killed this person. Well...apparently their warning wasn't just a ruse. His frown came back, what were they thinking, then? Putting such a dangerous object where just about everyone could find it? Then his eyes scanned the crowd, even though he knew he wouldn't know who it had been.

Nefertari walked in a bit late into the assembly but managed to catch the last of what Headmistress Maria had said, she quickly got a seat and listened closer, Please tell that means they expelled him, or that he's in the hospital, she thought to herself, not believing something like this could happen. Not at Oceanside, this was a safe house.

Lia brought a hand up to her mouth, covering the gasp she let out. No longer with us, does that mean... Lia trailed off in her mind. She wasn't sure if the Headmistress meant that the student was dead or expelled. Surely the student couldn't be dead, it was a school for crying out loud, she thought, teacher's would be daft for keeping something dangerous out in the open. Lia looked at the students around her; faces clear that they thought the Heamistress meant dead.

The Headmistress took a breath and continued, "Logan Sykes was a bright young man. A junior in the Mental Division, just a couple of weeks from turning seventeen. Logan had the gifts of Telepathy, Mind Control, and Possession, qualities that many of the staff could see helping Logan go far. But that's not what he was interested in. He once said," she pulled out a piece of paper to read from, "'I really don't know what direction I want to take my life in, and at the moment, I really don't care. I just want to enjoy life to the fullest, without having to worry about being a villain or hero.'"
