"Tuna, try one," Tobias offered her a roll. He smiled and continued to eat.

"Uhh kay." Lyra reached over and took the roll and put it in her mouth. Her face was uneasy and she shut her eyes and tried not to chew with her mouth open. She reached for her soda and took a sip to help her swallow. "It's okay," Lyra said, cooly, casually shrugging.

"It's just tuna, it's not like it's sea urchin or fish eggs," Lyra accepted Tobias' compliment but thought she could do better. She was almost done with her food and she looked at Tobias. "Want to eat dessert here? Or get froyo?" she asked.

"I'm not really hungry for dessert," Tobias told Lyra. He patted his stomach and looked at his mostly empty plates. "This was a good idea. Thanks for the invite Lyra," he smiled at her.

"What you're going to leave me now?" Lyra's hands went to her side and she gave Tobias a weird look, as if the was saying, 'what the hell are you doing/mean?' "Any time though," Lyra replied to Tobias. The waitress came and asked if they wanted dessert but Lyra declined and paid for the meal. "I was going to go for pizza but this sounded better."

"Yeah..." Lyra's voice went silent. She didn't want to go back to the school. She wanted to stay out and do something. It was a Saturday night and didn't want to go home just yet. "Do you want to go somewhere?"
