Aaron laughed at Melrose's offer. "Thank you for the offer Melrose, but if there was one more person who could do it, it wouldn't be as special," Aaron said. He would accept her offer... but would he sound like a pervert? Was this whole cherry twisting thing just one big test? Was he passing? Was he failing?
"This ice cream is good!" Yeah! Topic change. "It's nice that it isn't soft-serve. Soft serve sundaes aren't the greatest," Aaron said. His sundae was almost gone. Nervous eating, perhaps?

Oh good, he's laughing it off. Good, he doesn't think she's a hussy. Good, she's beaten her bird like ways and has finished her sundae.
Melrose looked down at her empty bowl. "Yeah! Holy cow, I didn't think I'd actually finish it... but I guess I did." She gave a small laugh and dropped the spoon into the bowl, leaning back in the booth. "I don't think I've tried soft-serve before. Well, maybe I have. I just never bothered to look."
The waitress stopped by, setting the bill on their table.
"Hey, look I can pay for myself." She pulled out her wallet from her bag and proceeded to count out the few dollars the sundae was worth. Melrose knew Aaron had said it was his treat, but she wouldn't let him get away with it that easily. She needed to pay him back anyway. For everything, really.

"Told you, Mel. I said you could finish it," Aaron smiled and applaud her for finishing the sundae. Aaron was in disbelief when Mel said she didn't think she had soft serve."Soft serve? Like McDonalds cones or Dairy Queen?" Was there Dairy Queen on the East Coast? Everyone had to have Dairy Queen some point in their life. "We'll get soft serve next time," Aaron said. He would take her into the world of ice cream.
Then Mel started to take out the money. No no no no. After Melrose put the money in the receipt thing, Aaron pulled it towards him. He took out his wallet, but the money in and took out the dollars that Melrose had. He put four on the table and gave the rest to her. "You'll cover the tip," Aaron said. If Mel wanted to help, she could cover the tip. It seemed fair, no?

"Oh! So that's soft serve." Melrose said, feeling like an idiot, "Geez, I didn't know it was called that. My bad." He was right though, now that she thought about it, there was a distinct difference between the two. She had just never taken the time to notice.
Her eyes darted over to Aaron, as he gave back some of her money that wasn't included in tip. There he goes again, being all helpful. But Melrose wasn't going to resist, she got to help out somehow. Taking and sliding the dollar bills back into her wallet and then back into her purse, she stood up from out of the booth. "Tip it is, then. It'll help me sleep easier at night knowing that I helped out somehow."
Aaron has done so much for her in the past few days and all she's done for him was pay tip. "I know I've said it before, but if you ever want anything, Aaron, please tell me. You've done so much for me and I have to pay you back." She gave him a playful poke, "Whether you want me to or not."

A bit of driving around and the diner wasn't hard to miss at all. Driving by it was enough to give someone a flashback into the past, seriously. She parked, went and opened the passengers seat for Car all gentlemanly-like, and both went in and got seated relatively quickly. Cal was pretty sure that was because they were past the lunch rush, "Looks good.. smells good at least."

Cal just ordered a cheeseburger, some fries, extra pickle spears, and some other side dishes to fill her empty stomach. Car had ordered something small to fulfill whatever hunger she had and Cal paid it behind her back so when it would come time to ask for their checks, the skater pyromancer would be told it was taken care of.

After spending a bit of time in the Einstein hall bathroom tidying herself up, Anna decided to grab a bite to eat before changing. Hunger overcame cleanliness, though she didn't feel or look too bad, anyway; she'd shower after lunch. Walking into town, she spotted a cute old-fashioned diner and decided to eat there, wanting pancakes and eggs like these. She walked in and immediately spotted Cal's pink head. "Hey Cal!" she called out, walking over to her booth. "Do you mind if I join?"

"Hey there babe," Cal motioned to the almost empty booth she sat in, "go ahead, have a party." Anna was far from bad company and after last night, they pretty much had a drinking buddy bond even if it wasn't a one on one thing. She scooted all her food over as well as herself so Anna could set next to her.

Carson picked at her food. She didn't know anyone here well, so she decided to do what she had done the first time she'd had lunch with Jamie and not show everyone what a slob she was. She waved "hello" to the newcomer and scooted over as well.

Anna sat down with Cal and a girl she didn't know. She told her her name and year, then asked, "How are you? I just moved here, it's good to meet you"
She ordered her food and a glass of water, talking with the two girls as she waited. "Some party last night, huh, Cal?"

Cal laughed under her breath between bites and gave her a look, "Party? Babe, we all got hell of wasted." She took a crunchy bite out of a pickle spear and looked from Car to Anna, "You two strangers?"

Carson smiled and replied "Fine. And you? I'm Carson." After Anna had told her her name. Then she turned to Cal to answer her question. "Yeah, I guess we're just meeting for the first time now, huh?" Carson said with a chuckle.

"Nothing wrong with that, we're all going to the same school and are a little more or less different than other people. This'll just have to be a getting to know each other lunch." Cal gave a shrug and devoured a few fries with ketchup in the process, looking from Anna to Car now. Lunch with two cute girls, nothing wrong with that at all.

Carson continued to tentatively eat her food, occasionally stopping to let out a yawn. She looked at the two. Cal looked older than her, and Anna had already told her she was also a Sophomore. Cal's power interested her. She'd heard about people raising the dead before, but she'd never met a Necromancer in real life. Actually, she hadn't even met another gifted until she came to Oceanside. She eyed Anna, wondering what her power was, but she didn't bother to ask. Instead, she picked up another fry, taking tiny bites. No need to embarrass herself by showing off her skills as a certified glutton.[data]What she's wearing: i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv94/TomBoySk8r99/CarsonsOutfit4.jpg

Everyone was eating now so the conversation died down a lot but she took the silence to toss Car and Anna glances to observe them though soon they were just glances at Carson. She had already studied Anna for the most part, or at least, more than Carson since she just met her this morning. "You eat like a mouse," she observed in a firm tone, not meaning anything by it and perhaps there was a slightly playful hint to it but that was all up to how anyone who heard it interpreted it, "Not hungry?" It could be shyness to the fact that she was eating with two new people. A person was generally reserved about their eating habits.[data] Today's happy outfit
