"Then we'll practice more." Lyra said. She pushed her plate forward before taking the pickle off the plate so Tobias could have the rest. "You're a senior now. Take advantage of the opportunity you have to get control of your shadow..." Lyra whispered, leaning forward to Tobias could hear. "

"Right now?!" Lyra looked over at the time. It was almost time for round three to start. Her body to shake. She gripped the tall, cold milkshake glass and swallowed hard. "I'm nervous," Lyra said. She didn't want to get hit by electricity again.

"I know I can..." Lyra heaved a sigh and payed the bill since they had to leave soon. Lyra finished her milkshake. Maybe eating before a fight wasn't good. "Aside from the fight thing- when do you want to work on your own shadow?" Lyra asked Tobias.

"Maybe sometime later this week?" Tobias suggested. He finished his shake and waited for Lyra.

"Yeah, later this week sounds good," Lyra agreed before scooting out of the booth. She walked out of the diner. "Let's head back to school," Lyra said. She moved to the side of the shadows so Tobias wouldn't look shadow-less as they walked back to the school and towards the arena.

Penelope walked into the Diner, the little bell above the door ringing, and sat down at a booth. She ordered a large Cheeseburger with fries and a shake and waited for Artemis.

Artemis inhaled as she walked on the town. She was invited to go singing but..that just didnt fit her. She decided to meet up with Penelope instead. Opening the door she giggled at the bell that rang. She scanned the room looking for her. "Hey hey" She said taking a seat.

Aaron followed Penelope to the diner, sitting next to her at a booth. He ordered the same thing as he. Aaron saw Artemis and waved to her, "hey, Artemis," Aaron greeted her.

"Hey!" Penelope said, feeling better about the fight when she saw Artemis. It was just easier to get along with people who were on... her side.

Artemis smiled to Aaron as she picked up a menu. "Hey guys" She said. "Sorry about today Aaron...just I had a lgiht fuse today" She said ordering onion rings.

"It's okay," Aaron said. It was nice for Artemis to apologize. It was rather stressful in that small coffee shop. "Try not to let it happen again," Aaron said, almost as if it was a warning but said it calmly where it appeared casual.
