Aaron dashed over to Jamie and sat next to him. "Are you okay?" Aaron asked Jamie, concerned for his roommate's and friend's state-of-being.

"I'm Fine..." He replied frowning standing. "I think I'm going to go to the Practice arena....Let off some steam." He said standing moving towards the Cafe' door.

Cor finally awoke from her trance. "Whoops, sorry. I--I'm just a bit--I--" Cora couldn't finish her sentence. She couldn't hear them. She sighed. "Sorry."

Aaron nodded, he understood. "Alright man. Take care," Aaron said to Jamie before he left to t the door. He looked at Cora- was she alright? "Are you doing okay?" he asked her, "do you need water or anything?"

"I'm fine. Really. I just...get lost in my own thoughts and the...never mind." Cora looked up. She smiled weakly. "I just realized that i may have said the wrong thing. I forgot that--sorry."

"Hey, calm down, it's alright," Aaron was much more calm talking to Cora rather than Artemis. He left her momentarily to pay for a water bottle- 3 dollars was a little to much but hey, the girl needed something to drink. He went back to the table and opened the bottle and gave it to her. "Don't freak out about anything."

Cora wanted to run away. She wanted to run away from the bubbles over everyone's head, the voices in her ear, everything. But it wasn't like when you were five and you could hug your stuffed animal and watch TV and everything would just melt from your mind.
Cora was nervous. Her heart rate was accelerating. Her eyes danced across the room.
She wasn't five. She was fifteen and she couldn't run away. No matter how tempting it was.
She sipped the water. Aaron's voice was soothing, somehow.

Carson watched as Cora stuttered and Aaron got her a bottle of water. She didn't know what to do now. Should she stay and continue to talk to these two, or should she leave and find something more interesting to do. She hadn't stayed out very long last night, so she thought she'd enjoy the night life tonight. The only problem was, she didn't know her way around town. So who would be the best group to tag along with?
Jamie had left. Carson didn't recall where he said he had gone though. Artemis had probably gone back to the dorm room. If Carson went back too, and Artemis was still miffed, it could get ugly. Carson didn't want to risk starting anything.
"Aaron, what do you think we should do now?" She asked, just hoping maybe the older boy had some sort of answer.

Aaron looked over at Carson who turned to him for advice. "Stay here and calm her. She isn't good by herself right now," Aaron said. He looked at Cora. She was freaking out, he looked at her eyes which seemed to scatter. He had to use his powers. Aaron took a small breath of air before focusing on Cora's mind, channeling her nervousness into something calm that would keep her leveled. He had to be with her at all times now, if he left her alone, out of the room for one moment, her nervous wreckage would come back.

Carson watched. "Well, I guess I could stay with her... but I think I'm gonna go train so... Cora, you want to come with?"
She asked, as the girl seemed to suddenly calm down.

"No, no-" Aaron looked over at Carson, "if she goes with you, I go," Aaron said. He wouldn't let Cora go alone just yet.

Carson shrugged. "I'm fine with that. Or she could stay here with you... but do I have to stay with her too?" Carson asked, not trying to imply that she didn't enjoy the company of these two, but she just wanted a bit more action tonight.

Aaron shook his head at Carson, "no, you don't have to stay here." Aaron said, "or with us for that matter, you can go if you wish." He said, looking back at Cora to make sure she was doing alright still.

Carson nodded to Aaron and then waved a goodbye. "Well, I'll be seeing you guys around. Text me if you need anything..." She said, quickly jotting her number down on a napkin and handing it to him.

"See you, Carson," Aaron said and waved goodbye to Carson, taking the napkin that she handed to him. He tucked it in his pocket, reminding himself to save the number into his phone later.
