Tobias sat down on his bed and let out a soft sigh. He hoped Lyra wasn't going to castigate him again for his misbehavior at the park. "So, what's up?" he asked her uneasily, toying with the sheets on his bed.

Lyra jumped up onto Tobias' bed, sitting down in front of him. "I unno," Lyra muttered with a shrug. Maybe she would let the park event's slide. There was something else on Lyra's mind tonight. "Tobias... this is our senior year," she said, picking at a thread. "Are you going to college after this?" Lyra asked, "because it seems like a lot of people don't want that. They want to pursuit a superhero position or something."

"I'm not sure," Tobias replied, falling backwards to stare at his ceiling. "There's nothing that I really want to do. Super-related or not," he told Lyra. Tobias didn't particularly like categorizing himself as a hero or a villain. He wasn't about to save the world with his power, but at the same time, he wasn't about to go around destroying things. Can I even fit into regular society? he asked himself. "What are you thinking of doing?"

"I wan't to sing," Lyra looked up at Tobias, staring at him. "I love singing, TK, you know that," Lyra sighed. As if her parents would let her go to some art school, let alone support her decision for majoring in music. There wasn't much you could do a degree with that. "Unless I hit the jackpot and get a record deal, I'll probably go to college and do performing arts, but it's not like that's a steady job opportunity," Lyra rocked herself to the side and curled up in a ball. "I'd rather have people cheer for me, performing on stage rather than having people cheer for me saving their lives."

"I know what you mean," Tobias responded sullenly. He didn't like his power that much. Only for a few moments did he ever really enjoy it. Those few moments could only be had when Lyra was around. "Are you still going to be my best friend if you make it to the big time? or are you going to leave me behind?" Tobias asked Lyra with a small chuckle. He had never really thought about not having her around.

"Of course Tobias, I will forever be apart of your life as your best friend if you allow me to," Lyra smiled as she answered him. The thought of tobias out of her life was weird. Ever since their friendship started, they were never apart. "I'd be lonely without you TK," Lyra laughed a little. A life without Tobias... It seemed impossible.

"I'm glad to hear that you'll stay by my side," Tobias replied to Lyra. He grabbed his pillow and tossed it up and down in the air. "I'd get pretty lonely without you in my life, Lyra," whispered Tobias quietly. He gave her a forced smile.

Tobias walked in, super exhausted. He changed into a tank top (not a wifebeater haha) and sweats. He noticed his bed was empty and laughed. He collapsed on his bed and tried to sleep.

Roof of the main building. You can get there by using a the supposed fire escape on the side of the building. Somewhere to get away from everything but still on campus.
