Lyra slowly opened her eyes and tried to sit up, trying to recall what happened but her ears were ringing. Her head automatically went back on the pillow.

Annabella went back to check on Lyra, the nurse assured her she'd be completely recovered within the next half hour. She motioned for Penelope to come and get checked out in case she had any energy, plus she didn't want another crater in the field.

"I'm fine," Penelope mouthed to the Headmistress, turning and walking out of the stadium, heading for the tower.

She nodded and turned back to Lyra, waiting for the girl to regain consciousness.

Lyra opened her eyes, trying not to fall asleep. She didn't know what was wrong with her and didn't want her brain to shut off forever and die today. Lyra held her head and groaned, just to show she was alive.

"I know..." Lyra's voice was quiet. She blinked rapidly, trying to keep her eyes from closing. "I'm trying," she said. Lyra tried to sit up but it hurt to much. The pain was all in her head but she couldn't function properly.

The nurse gave Lyra some drugs to lessen the pain and hopefully help it fade away.

Lyra took the pills and made a funny face. She forced herself to sit up straight and she slouched over and groaned. She needed to do karaoke or something.

"I'll be okay," Lyra tried to get off the stretcher but lost balance. She led onto the railing of the bed. "Just- in shock, ears hurt.. that's all," Lyra looked around, hoping to find a friend, or a familiar face, anyone.

Nefertari saw The headmistress walk away and rushed towards Lyra,"Hey are you okay?", she asked concerned, she saw Lyra was hanging on the railing,"You can, er, lean on my if you need to."

Lyra smiled when she saw Nefertari rush towards her. Lyra nodded and held her neck. It still tingled. "I'll be fine," Lyra said, waving her question off. She didn't want to talk about the pain, anything but that. Lyra looked at the playing field and the cracked glass. "We left a mess."
