Oceanside School for the Gifted is one of many safe-houses distributed across the globe. In each one of these safe-houses there lies an orb, something like a power generator. These generators look like miniscule suns, about 20 feet in diameter. They are various colors, Oceanside's is electric blue.
The Council of the Gifted (similar to the ministry of magic) is in charge. We all report to them. They make the rules, and they keep us safe.
Prosies, are what we call non-gifted people. Very few of them know about us, and the ones that do are either A) Jealous, B) Scared, or C) Conspiracy Theorists. There are groups of them that spend every minute searching for these safe-houses that have the generators.
There are multiple things that can happen when one comes in close contact with a generator.
For someone who's gifted, the following things can happen:
