Artemis walked out to the middle of the Arena. She looked around. It was slightly different then The practice arena. But thanks to Penny she had a bit pf practice. Artemis got in to a stance as she created two fire balls in each of her hands. SHe wouldnt attack firat. Artemis wanted to see Taris power.

Nefertari calmed herself and once the fight had started she shot out two small jets of water, taking out the fire in Artemis's hand. She raised an eyebrow and gave her a challenging smile, waiting for her to retaliate. She wanted to know what she was up against.

Artemis looked to see her hands wet. She looked up to Tari with that smile. Her face turned to a frown as she used her own air against Tari's and added the fire with it. She snapped her fingers and surrounded her fire with air to control it better. She sent it at her shins.

Tari slowed down time and went out of the way of the flame, since she hadn't reacted quickly enough her left shoe now was a bit charred. Narrowing her eyes, she sent a strong air current to push Artemis back, and a stronger jet of water at the back of her knees, hoping that it'd cause her to fall.

Artemis saw her ball slow in time. She attempt to react but her eyes went to see her shoe. She smiled looking up as she saw the water coming towards her. She used the wind to dry it up but was pushed back by Tari's wind. It caught her off gaurd and made her stumble a bit. Artemis shot off a fire ball at Tair hard as she fell to the floor.

Tari didn't have the reaction time to use time manipulation, so she tried setting up a wall of water to protect her. When it put out the fire, she slowed down time and got behind Artemis, balls of water in one hand just in case. She sped it up again and used her air manipulation to deprive her of oxygen for a bit.

Artemis lay on the floor as Tari's wind pushed her down. She saw her move behind her and used her own wind to dry up Tari's water as she sent out fire at her one after another. Soon her air was gone. Artemis lay on the floor trying to breath as she used her wind to push Tari back.

As Artemis was weakened she was able to deflect her wind current and pin her down, she gave her back some oxygen but not a lot. She waited for the Headmistress to count to five.

The headmistress walked onto the field when five seconds had been up. "Round one: Nefertari Adel!" She shouted to the crowd, raising Nefertari's hand. "Round two will begin in five minutes!"

"Round two is starting now!" She called out to the fighters and the spectators.

Artemis walked back into the arena as she was ready for round two. She had a ball of fire in one hand and a ball of air in the other. She narrowed her eyes as she waited for Tari to enter the arena.

Nefertari came back from her break and waited for Artemis with a ball of water in each hand.

Artemis glanced down to her ball of water. She nodded slightly to herself. She used her wind to levitat her slightly as she moved behind Tari combining both of her orbs together. She would only be able to stop one so one of her balls would be bound to hit her. Atremis moved and tossed one fire ball then a ball of them combined, then another ball of air catching her off gaurd. She tossed another fire ball at her chest using an air current to be thrown at her faster and harder.

Tari could only block one of the fire balls so she blocked the one aimed at her chest and tried to dodge the other one, unsuccessfully. She winced as her leg was burned but continued to fight. She sent a strong air current at Artemis hoping to knock her back.
