It was hard to miss the sounds of a happy person in a quiet area, Vergil hearing just that the deeper he went into the park and the further the street side got. His adventurous streak was still on going so he indulged his curiosity and searched for who ever it was while his tongue entertained itself with a scoop of caramel infused vanilla ice cream.

More laughter, and the lightning brightened. Mykel smiled wider, making the puppets play with each other childishly, happily.

Vergil found the source and had been for sometime leaning against a tree behind Mykel with his cone in hand, lapping away at it to ensure its demise as he watched the older boy entertain himself. He wanted to spook him, say something, make him aware of his presence in some way but seeing Mykel so happily open was freeing in itself.

The figures vanished, but Mykel remained, testing what looked like a new trick. His sparks surrounded him, a thin strand connecting him to both earth and sky as the senior floated in mid-air.

Vergil held his silence steady here as well though the awe that he was experiencing was quite obvious, anyone would be able to tell with the way he abandoned nibbling at his treat to stare at the senior but he was now partially nervous about both of them being caught by those who possessed now power in any form. He was about to call out to Mykel when he hesitated and held his voice in his throat with a firm clamping of his lips. What if he startled him? He'd fall out of the air.

His eyes closed as the lightning lowered his body back down, and Mykel smiled. "Hi Vergil."

Vergil squeaked and held his cone in front of his face as if that'd be enough to hide him as silly as it looked; he peeked around it and flushed promptly, now embarrassed to have been caught lurking in the shadows so blatantly, "H-hallo.."

"I saw you when I floated." He smiled, moving closer. "How's my boy?'

Vergil received an awakening hum from his core, unfreezing him so he may continue to lap at his cone contently to flash Mykel a very sincere grin, "I ahm gut, und yu?" He met him halfway in the approach.

"I'm great, Wings, I really am. Like the trick, cause I can take you up." He offered, hugging Vergil lightly. "After you finish your ice cream, of course."

"I haff been uhp befohr Mai-khul buht thahnk yu fohr the ohfur," Vergil subtly reminded him he had flown several times while bringing the cone up between them in the hug to press it ever so very slightly to Mykel's lower lip, "Vould yu kare fohr suhm..?"

A laugh. "Oh, right, you fly." Pushing the cone away, he smiled. "I'd love a taste." He whispered, kissing Vergil lightly.

Vergil had laughed a little when he nodded, expecting Mykel to have a bite when he soon felt his lips covered for that taste he had spoken of. His grip on the cone slacked a little as he lowered his arm to return the affection more firmly.

"Mmm, vanilla, hint of caramel." He grinned, licking his lips slowly and closing his eyes.

Vergil didn't answer him finding no point in confirming something right when the elder pulled away; he bit into the edge of his chocolate dipped cone and simple pecked his boyfriend once. Boyfriend. He never thought he'd have one. As a boy, you learn to want a girlfriend, never someone of your own gender.
