Tobias finally reached the park. He wasn't quite sure why he'd actually followed the girl. She obviously wasn't going to apologize.
Maybe I'll scare her a bit using my powers.
But that wouldn't work. TK hadn't used his powers in a while and might lose control. On the other hand, the girl's harsh words echoed in Tobias's mind. He couldn't let her get away with insulting him.
TK walked around, not sure where he was supposed to find the girl. It was a big park after all. Lampposts created small pools of light along the sidewalks.
"Where are you?" Tobias called out as he stopped underneath a tree.

It was a bit dim so she wasn't sure if the figure that had approached was the boy she insulted earlier, until she heard his voice. "Up here!" She said, looking down at him. Hana jumped down from her perch, landing on her feet and standing up straight again. She had landed in front of him, a little too close for comfort.
Taking a step back she cracked her knuckles and looked at the boy playfully, "So, we gonna have a throw down? You sure look frustrated." She placed her hands on her hips as she awaited his reply. This's gonna be a piece of cake.

Tobias stumbled backwards in fear as the girl landed in front of him. It was unexpected. Anyone would have been frightened.
He swallowed hard, nervous about starting a fight. His body tensed as he lips curled into a savage grin. "You can have the first swing, since you're a girl," he teased.
Normally, TK wouldn't be dumb enough to start a fight with a stranger, but he had chosen to disregard logic for tonight.
Bring. It. On.

Hana licked her lips as a grin grew on her face, "Why, thank you, kind sir." She clenched her right hand into a fist and pointed it at him, "I'd love to have the first swing." Oh fuck that stupid 'don't show the world your powers.' rule, what needs to be done needs to be done. And kickin this kid's ass needed to be done.
She took a running start at him, jumping up into the air doing one flip to lengthen the height she reached. As she began to descend, Hana changed her right arm into a metal bat, the lights shining off it. "Take it like," she was getting closer, "A man!" Perfect distance, almost point-blank, Hana swung at his head, sure that it would hit him.

Tobias took a wide stance and prepared for the probably-super-girlie-and-weak-punch that was sure to come. His eyes widened as the girl leaped into the air, gaining considerable height.
Holy shi- HOLY SHIT
Her hand had turned into a metal bat. Bat-hand. Hand-bat. Who cares? It was dangerous.
Tobias barely had enough time to throw his arms around his head and block the attack. The force of the impact sent him spiraling backwards. His forearms stung and it felt like she might have fractured the bones. Tobias winced and held his arms close to his chest.
I was not expecting that...
Now it was TK's turn. He didn't have time to worry about the stability of his powers. The girl was clearly a threat and he needed to protect himself. Tobias focused on the shadow of a nearby park bench.
The bench's shadow would be much weaker than if Tobias used his own shadow, but he wasn't willing to take that risk. Weakly, Tobias motioned with his hands and created a shadow-lynx. The creature seemed to fade in and out of existence. It looked pure black, then grayish translucent, then black again. TK was having trouble controlling his powers and focusing with his arms screaming in pain.

Her landing made small craters beneath her feet; she didn't think that her landing would be this hard. She shrugged as she charged towards the boy, only to skid to a halt as she saw him.. manipulate the shadows?! Really?! What kind of power was that? Shadow-manipulating, duh.
She shook her head to concentrate again; Hana wasn't sure of how to deal with a shadow. I mean, they weren't tangible if she recalled correctly. Won't hurt to try... she thought as her arm changed from the bat to a sword's blade. Maybe she'd be able to take advantage of his disorientated state.
Once again taking a running start, she furrowed her brows as she stared at the beast. What was it..? A lynx? Is that was it was? (Yeah, that's what it was, TK told me so :p). She slashed at it blindly, unsure of what exactly that'd do.

The blade ripped through the shadow-lynx with frightening force. The creature was shredded by the sword and vanished.
Tobias watched in horror as his shadow-lynx was decimated. To add to the growing list of problems, the girl's hand was now a sword. Sword-hand. Hand-sword. Handy Sword. Yes.
Crap, my powers are weak...
TK stumbled backwards a bit, increasing the distance between himself and the girl. He had to go for a more direct use of his powers.
Reaching out with one hand, Tobias stole the shadow off the closest lamppost and created a net that he flung towards Hana. Each time he used his hands, or even just his arms in general, TK winced. The girl's initial attack had been devastating to his well-being.

What the heck was that kid doing? Throwing air at her? She felt a smirk decorate her face as she lunged towards him. It was when she fell back, tangled in a net of darkness that she realized that it wasn't just 'air.'
"Urgh!" She struggled to get up at first, "So stupid!" It was dark! Not like she would be able to see that in the dim lights that hovered above them. Transforming both her arms into blades, she hacked away at the net, seeing it disappear and vanish before her as she kept on going. After she felt the net fall away from her she jumped up, dusting away any dirt on her. Another smile plagued her lips as she looked at the boy. "What, you in pain, little boy?" Hana taunted as she twirled her arms about, the light glinting off the blades softly.

Things looked bad. No, things looked horrible.
At this point, Tobias felt like he was out of options. He needed a strong shadow to protect himself and the only available shadow was....his own. TK and the girl were too far now from the lamppost for the girl to have a clearly defined shadow that TK could manipulate.
"How did I end up in this?" Tobias asked himself. He reached into his pants pocket, withdrew the vial of shadow from within, and opened it. Tobias's shadow flowed out of the vial like black mist.
The girl was getting closer and was saying something, but TK wasn't paying attention. He focused on his shadow and began to manipulate it. As his mind linked with the shadow, he felt its insatiable hunger for blood. He shivered and squeezed his eyes shut as he the lifeless-yet-very-real-mind of the shadow mixed with his own consciousness.
The shadow slid up Tobias's body and snaked it way down both his arms. The shadow latched onto his right arm and formed his own handy-dandy-shadow-sword. The shadow portion on the left arm formed a shield.
Tobias hoped the manipulation would be more solid than the net and lynx.

She saw the flow of the darkness cover over the boy and tilted her head. Something was off. Something was very, very off. I mean, it was Hana, she would know when something was off when it was.
She got into a fighting pose and circled him, she wasn't sure what he would do now. Something's not right.. not right at all.. Hana wanted to analyze him, see what he could do with this power. It was in a vial, right? The park lights didn't help at all.
Well, now is a better time than ever...
Hana lunged at the boy, keeping her right arm as a sword, and turning the left into a large mallet. She took a swing at him with her left arm (mallet) as she kept her right (sword) at bay, waiting for the right chance to strike.

Tobias waited as Hana circled him. He focused on his breathing in an attempt to stay in control of his manipulation. The attack would come soon, he could feel it.
And then...
Tobias sidestepped the attack, catching the hit on his shield. At the same time, he swung his sword in an arc. He wanted to hit the girl with the flat side and knock her out.

"Tch..." she hissed as her mallet!arm got caught on his shield. She pulled away to feel the flat side of his shadow!sword hit against her stomach, tumbling backwards and away from him. "Guh..." Right where she was hit at the last job she was in. She could feel the blood rushing to that area now. "I'm calling this match. It's not that I wouldn't love to finish you off now, but it's better for both of us if we quit now." she glared as she stated this.
Her arms twisted back to normal as she ran out towards the vast emptiness of the park, changing her appearance as she ran to make sure he wouldn't find her again.

Mykel smiled to himself, letting off soft sounds of happiness at times. He could still taste Vergil's kisses, and it made him happier than he'd been in a long time.

Vergil had been a little less than good and left the grounds on an adventurous streak to hunt himself a cone of ice cream which he was now enjoying on a stroll in the night; he was well aware he was breaking curfew and felt bad of course but he promised himself he wouldn't be out too late to make himself feel better- whether it was the truth or not was yet to be seen. His heart and core were giving light, fluttery hums that he attributed to the very recent events in his life, leaving him with a very happy spark in his eye. What a night, what a night~

Mykel was giggling softly, messing with his lightning happily, glad it was going to storm soon. A Vergil-figure appeared, dancing with his own puppet, and they laughed with their creator.
