Cora walked down the rainy avenue and swung open the large glass doors of the Star Theater. Cora's eyes relatively fell from her head when she saw the monumental beauty of this theater. The crown molding was painted gold, and breath-taking murals of angles were tossed carefully over the walls and ceiling. Cora stumbled over to the reception desk. She tried to look adult-like as she stepped up to the desk. "How may I be of assistance?" the receptionist asked, smiling at her. "Yes, I would like to sign up for auditions. Is there a specific area in this building to do so or do I sign up here?" she asked, maintaining her composure. Cora had never told anyone, except her family, of her love of acting. "You've come to the right place. The clip boards are to your right, miss." Cora nodded. "Thank you," she said and turned to the clip boards. She quickly found the play she wanted to be apart of and signed up for female lead. Cora placed down the pen and thanked the receptionist once more before walking outside into the rain. She beamed.
