"This place is even busy after midnight..." she said, rolling down the sleeves of her shirt. "I think I'm going to get a strawberry shake too- nooo I just had icecream," Lyra crossed her arms and stared at the menu, "but they sound so good. French fries and milkshakes is the best combination. "

Ethan zipped up his hoodie in retaliation to the a/c. He approached the register and ordered a number one combo, paid the cost, and went back to Lyra. "Just get something if you want it," he said nonchalantly.

"But there's guilt with it!" Lyra shook her fist in anger, "but a cherry coke sounds good," Lyra said then went to the counter and ordered a number two and paid for it. "Now we wait for five years!" Lyra joked about the long waiting lines of In-N-Out. She took a seat and her stomach growled.

Ethan turned to see Tari waving at them and waved back with a smile. "Ohhh, they aren't that long. Man, how did I spend the entire day with you anyway?" He added quietly wondering if she would hear.

Lyra waved to Tari and turned back to Ethan, overhearing what he said. Her sensitive hearing-- it was an up and downside. She over heard what Ethan said, but didn't know how to take it. "If you want to keep something to yourself it's best to think it when you're around me," Lyra looked up at Ethan and pointed to her right ear, "I can hear pretty well, probably better than you." Lyra shrugged it off, "I wondered the same thing too."

"Yeah, sorry, it's just that we're in public and it's just not the best idea to do that in public. Plus I'm a water person so electricity kind of makes me get jumpy", she replied with an apologetic smile,"So, Texas? That must be cool, where in Texas? It a pretty big state", she laughed lightly.

"So you do have super-hearing! I just wanted to put it to the test; I didn't mean for any offense towards you," he said with an expression of feigned innocence. Ethan chuckled and took a seat while waiting for his number to be called. "You think they'll tear down what we made on the grounds earlier?" he asked questioningly, suddenly curious about what they would do when they found a new fountain had spontaneously been conjured up.

"Wait what?!" Lyra pouted, feeling silly that she fell for Ethan's test, "you got me," she said, pouting her arms and looked up at the ceiling, staring that the lights. "But yeah, it goes with my banshee mageness," Lyra shrugged, using Ethan's nickname as a title for her power. She looked back at Ethan shrugged, "I uno. I hope not, they may ask about who did it, but it's a pretty fountain. They may not mind."
