( Ability )
- Persona: Tsukiko; A part of her unconscious that has emerged from the sea of her soul. Tsukiko has her own set of power Hydrokinesis/water-based skills. The strength of her powers increase during a full moon, hence the name Tsukiko (Moon Child). She also has physical attacks using a sword.
- Toshie herself uses Lygokinesis (raw psionic energy) w/Varma ati: Psionic energy is the essential energy that all things have to exist. She can make them into weapons, shields, or for healing purposes (but if she does this, she must concentrate on healing and healing only). Due to the fact she can sense and feel the energy around her, she can also block one's energy from flowing via pressure points, rendering her opponent powerless temporarily.
- BERSERK mode: (THIS ISN'T A POWER) When provoked just right (or wrong, depending on how you see it), Toshie will lose her cool and go "BERSERK" in her "BERSERK" mode her eyes will glow a bright blue color and light will also emit from her mouth if she opens it. Her persona's, Tsukiko's, power will increase substantially. Once she enters this mode she almost acts like a beast and is attacks sloppily (but powerfully), and can see through tricks/illusions. Her reflexes go on high and her physical skills rises as well. The energy she uses up has no limit since she will draw any and all energy around her to stay powered.
- Oneirokinesis: The ability to mentally alter dreams. She can give her subjects extremely good dreams, or turn wonderful dreams into horrid nightmares. Toshie can even project her consciousness into the dreams of others and consciously perceive or control their own dreams. As her mastery of this ability grows, she can suppress lucid dreams or disrupt REM sleep, thus preventing foes from escaping their own minds; HOWEVER her level of Oneirokinesis is not that to that extent just yet.
( Type of Power ) Mental
( Weakness )
- The Persona will drain Toshie of physical and/or psionic energy, depending on which skill she uses.
- Toshie is not very strong physically, so once she runs out of psionic energy, she tends to surrender.
- Tsukiko may only be brought forth when Toshie is under attack or in combat.
- After BERSERK mode, Toshie will be horribly weak and worn out. Sometimes she can sleep for days to recuperate.
- BERSERK mode is very rare and Toshie cannot control when it happens or for how long it goes.
( Good vs. Evil ) Neutral Good
( Personality )
Toshie was a very sheltered girl and wasn't let out much due to her powers, so she's quite innocent to the world, shy, and reserved. Although, she is not shy about speaking her mind when necessary or provoked.
Even if she may be reserved, she's generally a happy-go-lucky, kind of girl. She always tries to see the best in things and people, regardless of their nature. Due to that, most people think her naive; she just likes to know a person more before judging.
As innocent as Toshie may be, she has a very acute sense of judgment and knows much about the world... through books. She's also very silly and clumsy out-of-combat, but very precise and critical during battle.
( Little Details )
( Strengths) Optimistic, but realistic; sagacious; has a good sense of right from wrong.
( Weaknesses ) shy and secretive; doesn't warm up to others easily (but it happens!)
( Dark Secrets ) Her parents sent her away from them in fear she would hurt them. She ended up in San Francisco because her aunt lived there. She's locked this memory deep in the recesses of her unconscious, and replaces it with the normal "better future for their child" reason.
( Reputation ) She always has a lot on her hands (literally), and normally trips and falls causing a splash of books and papers. Other than that, she's practically a wallflower and is very quiet.

( Mother ) Sae Makinami. 40. Florist. loves her very much and wishes she could be back home/sends her letters and the occasional phone call.

"But I don't wanna go live with Auntie Rin!" she pleaded, "I wanna stay with you and daddy!" Her mother was crouching in front of her, buttoning up the girl's coat.
"I know you don't sweety, but it's what's best for everybody." she replied, biting her lower lip to stop the tears. She finished buttoning up the girl's coat and stood back up only to bend down and give the small girl a kiss on her forehead. "You know we love you very, very much," she said with feigned happiness.
Toshie pouted as tears rolled down her cheeks, "But, but I want to stay here and play with Kuro!" She pointed to the petite, black cat that approached. It mewed back and nuzzled against Toshie. "I want to say here!" she cried out as she picked up the mewing feline.
"Is everything ready?" she heard her father say from outside where he had packed all her things into the car already.
"Almost!" Sae replied. She looked back down to her daughter's small, shaking frame and hugged her, "We'll always keep in touch though. We even got you a portable computer just so you can mail us online!"
She sniffed loudly and put the cat down to wipe her eyes. "Will I be able to come back..?" she asked with hope brilliant in her eyes.
"M-maybe" her mother said quietly, eyes welled with tears, "For now, be good at Auntie Rin's, okay?"
The girl looked down and twiddled her thumbs, "O-okay... I love you, mommy."
