Carson showed up to the party a bit late. It was a last-minute decision of hers to go anyway, since she'd forgotten about it until she heard some kids talking about it. She waved to Penelope, who she hadn't really met yet. She shover both her hands back into her pockets, and sauntered over to the food table. Cora scampered to the beach. She had gone back to her dorm for a nap and had woken up a five. From then on, she combed out her hair, curled it, and changed into a sweatshirt that actually fit. She kicked off her flip-flops, the sound of music wrapping around her. She noticed Carson, letting a slight smile appear on her face. She stuffed her hand in a jean pocket , clutching her flip-flops with the other.
"Hey," she said, smiling when she saw Penelope, "great party," she continued, glancing at Carson.

"Yeah. Thanks for inviting me. I'm really happy I did come," Cora replies, thanking her before going to she snack table and grabbing a chip.

Penny talked with a few others for a minute and then headed over to where the food was to get a drink. "How are you?" she asked Cora, who she didn't know very well.

"I'm fine," she said, smiling slightly at Penelope. "Yourself?" She didn't know Penelope, but she seemed nice enough being that Cora was already known as the "Awkward Girl" here.

Nicholas walked down to the beach to where he could see a bunch of kids, a bonfire ,and could hear party music blasting. He arrived at the group and looked around for someone he knew and spotted Penelope, to whom he walked over.
