Sunglee had himself slopped over one of the arms of the couch, every so often letting out a groan of displeasure and his condition. Damnit why did he have to be one of these special ones with this crap they call gifts!? It wasn't a gift! It was a freaking disease! To him anyways. Why couldn't he just be normal like regular humans? Nope, he's not allowed that...life sucks...a lot. He huffed, unmoving in his position until he heard a familiar, long ago voice, then felt someone sit next to him. He picked himself up from being so slumped over the arm of the couch to look over at Daphne! "Daphne!" He whined, then flopped over into her lap instead. "Daphne..." He whined a again, though this time, mumbled. "I've missed you!" He told her. "I've been in the infirmary, mostly. Been having to practice my abilities a lot lately, and you know the problems that come with that." He was pouting deeply, you could hear it in his voice. Then he started to squirm around. "I'm sorry I haven't been around to chill! I am!"

Daphne smiled again, chuckling lightly when he flopped himself over into her lap. She'd missed him. Him in all his over-excited and enthusiastic and cuteness. She ruffled his hair lightly, leaning back against the couch. "I missed you, too!" She returned, looking down to him. When he said he'd been in the infirmary she was worried for a moment, but relaxed. "I'm sad that you've been in the infirmary... but I'm happy you're here now. And it's okay! Relax!" She said, trying to calm him. "I survived. And you're here now, so it's all good!" She smiled again, trying to still his squirming. If he didn't stop he was going to end up in the infirmary again.

After a moment, Sunglee relaxed and turned himself over onto his back, head in Daphne's lap while he stared up into her face. "Well, I'm glad to see you survived! I would have been very upset if I came back around and you were like...not...of...the surviving kind...you know what I mean!" He squirmed a around a little more, not wanting to say the word dead. It was too depressing! He stopped to stare up into her face once again. "Daphne! You're pretty!" He told her. "I haven't been able to say that in a while and I need to! NEEEED!" He brought his hands up close to his chest and flailed them a little. "Nyaaaaaah." even making sound effects before he calmed himself once more. He let out a light sigh, happy to be there all snuggled in her lap. "You know, we'd probably get in trouble for being down here way past curfew."

Daphne smiled brightly watching him wiggle around in her lap. When he said she was pretty a light blush colored her cheeks, but she tried not to react any more than what was involuntary. All that time apart and she still wasn't used to comments like that. "Ehe. Thank you, but I don't think you needed to say it," She said, smiling again when he flailed. So strange.. and cute. Couldn't forget the cute. "Maybe. I don't think they care much anymore. I think most everyone has gone home for the holidays or something. So.. I'm not really worried. But we can always go to bed if you want to."

Sunglee felt the need to protest. "Yes I do! It is a need! I can feel it's a need!" He squirmed a little more. Why wouldn't she believe him!? "Beliiieeeeve meeee!" He whined and whimpered with a pout as he wiggled around. He stopped when she said they could go to bed, and his eyes widened, cheeks going red right after. His secret naughty mind was going into over drive. "Wha...you...and...I? In...bed?" He had a look like he'd just been knocked over the head and lost himself for a moment. "Oh...oh dear..."

Cal had wandered into the common room after doing whatever, and you know by whatever that meant another rave because fuck yeah! It was the weekend. She grinned and waved to the two making cuddles on the couch and threw herself on another a good distance away so she wouldn't intrude as she flipped through the telly channels for some entertainment. Documentary. Shitty reality show. Another infomercial for some piece of crap that never works. Rerun. God, there's nothing ever on anymore. What the fuck.

Daphne quirked her eyebrow slightly when he protested and started squirming, only to smile and chuckle. "Okay, okay. It's a need." He was strange sometimes. At least it kept it interesting though. When he started talking about them in bed together her eyes went wide and her cheeks turned deep red. "I didn't- Er, I meant- ohhhhh," She groaned, raising her hands and hiding her face in them. "That wasn't what I meant, Sunglee!" She was shaking her head lightly in her hands, keeping her deeply color cheeks hidden. She heard someone walk in and turn the tv on, but she didn't dare move her hands away from her face. She was far too embarrassed for anything of the sort.

Oh...oh geez...oh now...Sunglee's face brightened to an even deeper shade when Daphne's words made him realize that...he'd gotten it all wrong! DAMN that secret naughty mind of his! "Oh..I...I'm sorry...I just...it's was just that..." He trying to somehow explain himself as he sat up, flailing his arm about. "It just-It sounded like-I didn't mean to-" His flailing became too much and he wound up toppling over, head and shoulders hunched up on the floor with his arm sprawled out while his bottom half was still on the couch. "...okay...ow..." He twitched a little, only catching a brief glimpse of pink before he heard a tv. Someone else was in the room to witness this utter embarrassment? Oh joy...

The two sitting some distance away were a lot more entertaining than the load of bullshit on the tv, so Cal watched them from the corner of her eye with a bit of a chuckle. How cute. She wanted to say they were lovers but from the looks of it - they were more dancing around the idea of lovers than practicing it. Seems the two had a bit of a miscommunication by the way their faces were blazing red (even the tips of their ears, haha, cute) and now the guy the girl had been talking to was on the ground. It made her tilt her head and direct her attention back at the tv for their benefit while she wistfully bit her lower lip and got lost in thoughts. Wish I had a girl. I'm pretty sure I could give her the fucking world if my heart wasn't enough.

Daphne wiggled around a little, her eyes slowly peeking out from behind her hands. "I know how it sounded.. I get that now.. " She spoke, calming down a little. For supposedly being a super genius she was pretty freaking oblivious to a lot of things. Almost always anything to do with relationships. She proved that well enough last summer with her one and only boyfriend thus far. And that ended.. well, horribly. The redhead was pulled from her thoughts when Sunglee flailed around, ending up with his head on the floor. She'd said it! She said he was going to get hurt again! Or, well, thought it anyways. "Eep!" She squeaked, her hands falling from her face as she leaned over him to help him right himself, very carefully. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you! I just.. I hadn't-.. I didn't think you thought of me.. that way.. I'm sort of.. oblivious."

Sunglee was certainly thankful for the help back up onto the couch, but once he was back up there he sat with his knees up together, his face hidden in the ditch created by them, and his hands on the top of his head, fingers lost in his hair. He was careful to avoid the bump forming on his scalp though. Ouchies. He nuzzled his face into his knees further when Daphne spoke again. She really hadn't caught on yet!? He wasn't exactly talented in being sneaky about his feelings. He let out a little huffy sort of sigh. This was going to he hard to do. Confrontation...argh! What if she got upset? What if she got angry? What if she hated him!? Still...a part of him thought it would feel good to at least get it out in the open..."Ah...well..." He started with a nervous, shaky, for the moment, completely forgetting someone else was in the room. "I...I do...I mean...I-I...like you..." Suddenly Sunglee was up and over the couch, now on the floor behind it, hiding. He couldn't help it! He was no good with this stuff!

Daphne had relaxed back onto the couch once he was up again, her hands sitting folded in her lap. She was sort of.. nervous, now. He obviously was too the way he was hiding his face into his knees. Thinking back now, she could see it. Little signs, had she not been thinking of anything romantic, that were easily missed. And the more she thought about it the more she was starting to feel like an idiot. Yeah, the girl with an IQ so high she can't even be tested, felt like an idiot when it came to anything romantic. She shifted slightly, bringing one knee up to rest her chin on as he spoke again. He did like her. That way.. she hadn't ever really.. thought about it. Honestly romance wasn't something that crossed her mind that often in general, unless it's thrown right in her face. Like this. And before she really had a chance to say anything Sunglee was up and over the couch, hiding behind it. She couldn't help but smile and chuckle, pulling herself up and turning around to lean over the back and look down at him curiously. He was so damn cute. All the little things he did.. she liked them. She liked him. She was just oblivious. "Sunglee.. why are you hiding?" She questioned, laying her forearms on the back of the couch and setting her chin onto her hands.

Sunglee was up against the back of the couch there on the floor like he was hugging it, cheek pressed to the fabric, with his legs curled up close to his torso. He flinched when Daphne spoke. "...Seemed like...the thing to do..." He spoke in a near high pitched, scared voice. He was waiting for it. The rejection, the yelling, the negative words. All of it. He didn't think he was all that...desirable. He was silly, and immature, and hyper, and and yeah. Not many people could handle that. Very very few actually. And those that could, well, it generally took them a while to get to that point.

Daphne peered down at him, chuckling lightly. "You are so adorably strange, did you know that?" She questioned, just looking down at him with a light smile. He was so very different from her, it was just.. amazing. She was rational and logical and didn't really do a lot from impulse. He was.. completely not. It was adorable and endearing and just.. attractive to her in general. Why she never really noticed it before was beyond her. Romance was just.. she didn't get it most of the time. She loved the idea of it, no matter how much her logical brain fought it, she couldn't help it. She blamed the 16 year old girl in her.

Sunglee kept his eyes squeezed shut for a moment. Well...she wasn't...yelling...or throwing things at him...or telling him how much she hates him. So, that was good. She even called him...adorably strange? Was that a good thing? He hoped so. But, he couldn't help but notice she had yet to accept or reject his feelings...he was still waiting for the rejection, swallowing at the lump in his throat. What should he do? Bah...it was time to buck up at least a bit of courage! He slowly pulled his head back to look up to her. "Is that...good?" He had a sort of wide eyed, pouty expression going on, with little hints of his fear could be detectable, if you were looking for it.
