Penelope has never been quite the 'good girl', and when she realized her powers, she couldn't be happier. She had never been considered normal at her school, so finding out about Oceanside was probably the greatest thing that happened to her. She no longer feels different.
Penelope is sadistic and unemotional, and doesn't mind causing pain to others in order to get her way. Her favorite slogan is 'The ends justify the means,' and she follows it regularly. Penelope hates 'heroes' more than anything, though there are other things, of course, that she doesn't like, such as ignorance, prosies, feeling like she's not powerful or not in control, cats, little kids, and when things don't go her way, to name a few.

Penelope carried her bags in one hand as she made her way from the parking lot towards Houdini Hall. She breathed in the fresh west coast air. It was good to be home.
