Anna was suddenly left on deck by herself, wide eyed from watching Derek suddenly toss himself off the yacht. She noticed him talking into an ear piece before leaving; was he some sort of secret agent? Slightly weirded out, but taking it in stride -- she went to high school with a bunch of "special kids", how weird could things get? -- she quickly looked over the railing to check if she could see him, which she didn't, then headed back to the party.
Since the bartender apparently left, she helped herself to a glass of Jameson and surveyed the party for other people to socialize with.

She followed Aaron to a more secluded and darker area. At first, it didn't occur to her why. But she recalled quickly about the whole Oceanside rule thing. Being kidnapped and taken to a lab for testing would so not look good on a college resume.
"If you say so." Melrose checked to see if the coast was clear once they reached the shadows. No one was about. One could only hear the faint noise of crowd and chit-chatter from the above deck and locations around them. Confirming they were alone, Melrose grabbed Aaron's arms again. She had done the friction thing on Jamie before to wipe off sharpie, but she'd never tried warming before. It was kind of scary to try out. Especially on Aaron. He trusted her. The thought made Melrose's face warm all on its own. "Okay, champ. Just roll with it, I've never tried it before."
She began rubbing in a normal up and down motion and gradually picked up the speed. Melrose focused as hard as she could to find the right temperature. She totally did not want to screw this up. And eventually it came, in fact, Melrose could feel the heat generating beneath her fingers slowly and perfectly. She grinning up at Aaron, proud that she succeeded. "Well what do you know? I guess I can do it!" She laughed a bit as she looked from Aaron arms to his face.
"Superman." she added, poking fun at him. Aaron rejected the nickname, but Melrose could care less. No matter what he said, he was Superman. Whether he liked it or not.
