Derek made his way onto the yacht before the party started. He was searching underground for the past few days, ever since Olivia had been in a coma. He couldn't face her, not the way he was. Derek decided he needed to redeem himself, and the only way he could do it was fighting crime. Derek soon found rumors of a businessman willing to pass information Derek could use. After a few calls and a meeting under the guise of a yacht party for Oceanside students Derek soon found himself face to face with his contact.
The businessman turned slowly to Derek, and said, "Ah, you must be Mr. Tamin. I am Clark Almont. Please, take a seat."

TK showed up to the party after receiving an invite. He had on a black hoodie and jeans. No date, just lonely TK.

Mykel slipped happily onto the beach, barefoot as he often went these days, red shirt tight on his torso, blue jeans ripped to all hell. "Nice night." He commented, popping up behind Tobias.

Lyra showed up to the party knowing it before everyone else did. She had on a black tank top and jeans. No date, just lonely Lyra. Ethan was doing some thing in San Diego and Lyra was freaking out, thinking he was cheating on her or something. You know, typical girlfriend stuff. "Hi," Lyra greeted TK.
OH WELL TIME FOR SECOND BEST THING.

TK spun around to find himself face to face with Mykel. "Uhm, hello," he greeted the boy awkwardly. Lyra called out to TK causing him to look up. "Hi," he replied.

Mykel smirked and took off, waving to Lyra before sitting at the ocean's edge. "Cold water, warm sand. 'S nice."

TK called out to Lyra causing her to look up. "Hi," she replied again. "If I knew you were coming for sure I would have came with you," Lyra said with a shrug. But it was okay, they were all here now.

Since all her previous acquaintances at Oceanside had left, she didn't know any of these new people. Taking a deep breath, she walked over with a smile to the group talking, "Hi, I'm Sabrina."

Mykel started, then laughed and hugged Jamie back. "Crap, Notes, you scared me." He giggled, laying on his back and staring up. "Someone should start a bonfire.

Melrose gave a huge yawn as she reached her hands up toward the sky, as high as she could go. Streeeeetch. It was the weekend. Geez, it definitely took long enough.
Burnt out from school, work and theatre rehearsals, there was no doubt she was about ready to pass out. But the whole idea of a yacht party, just seem to suddenly boost Melrose's energy bar for the time being. She had never been to a "yacht party" before. It seemed cool. Like, better then a regular party. Like if one was to say they were going to a party and wanted to make it sound like a big deal, just add "yacht" to the beginning. It just sounded legitimate, right? No? Well geez, it sounded good in her head.
Twisting and turning her way through the groups upon groups of unknown faces, Melrose couldn't help but wonder who else was attending. No familiar people, and it felt like she had already made a lifetime of a journey searching. And then bingo.
Spotted. Tobias Knight. There was someone she knew. And the best friend / roommate, Lyra, along with that Sparky kid, Mykel, right? Yeah, they seemed busy. So maybe not the first option in conversation. Alright. Okay, Plan B?
Melrose leaned up against the boat railing, trying to look busy. She pulled the hood of her grey sweatshirt over her blonde curls, taking in the scene and thinking of some sort of social game plan for the evening.

Getting a text he was invited to a party. Which was cool since he was so new to the school. Jasper got to the beach and saw the huge boat like thing in the water. "Found it" he said running up to it. A few familiar faces he had seen but never really met. Walking on borde his hair blew in the wind while his hand dug in his pockets.
Looking around everyone was mingling. "Eh parties, social events, friends" he walked to the side and took a seat looking up to the stars before he would go meet anyone really.

TK stood awkwardly to the side and let people talk. He didn't want to interact tonight.

Looking out the window of the Captain's bow, Derek noticed the yacht was quickly filling up. "Mr. Almont, I assume our deal is settled?" Derek shifted his eyes to the businessman behind him, and turned around.
"Of course Mr. Tamin. I deliver you information, and you go on your..." the businessman gave a waving hand gesture of sorts, "... vigilante exploits." Quickly circling the round coffee table where they were previously sitting, the suited man inquired, "I assume you can dispatch everyone on the list no problem?"
Derek gave the man a cold stare. "I may be young, but I'll make sure they're taken care of. Now if you excuse me, this party that you set up as an excuse to meet with me is probably expecting me. Good night, Mr. Almont."
The man quickly let Derek pass him, but before Derek left, he said, "Oh Mr. Tamin. I'll be in touch with you soon enough." Without another word spoken, Derek exited the captain's cabin.
Entering the main deck where the party already started, he spotted Lyra. Quickly moving over, and not wanting to look awkward, he said, "Hey, Lyra, glad you could come." Looking over at the rest of his peers from the school with some familiar and some new faces, Derek said, "I'm also glad you all could come, would anybody like anything to drink?"
