Rhys laughed with Tari at her wish. "Well, more wishes would always be nice," he agreed. He lost track of where he was walking and ended up getting his feet soaked in icy cold water, jumping a bit in surprise.
"Well, then," he said, futilely trying to shake off the water from his shoes, "Shall we do anything else to celebrate the last night of summer?" he softly asked her.

Tari made the water go back, not wanting her feet to get wet as well, she giggled a bit as Rhys tried to shake the water out. She looked down and managed to manipulate the water to leave his shoes. Because walking home in wet shoes sucked.
"Hm, well I could think of a few things", she replied with wink, smiling slightly.

Rhys playfully put on a thoughtful face, "A few things, hmm..." he thought out loud. "Care to share your thoughts?" He seductively asked, holding her close, gazing into her eyes with his piercing blues.

Nefertari grinned when he asked her to share her thoughts,"I thought you could read my mind", she said, tapping his forehead lightly. She looked back into his eyes and stopped guarding her thoughts.

"Well, of course I can read your mind," he replied, drawing ever closer to her, "I like the actual sound of your voice though," he added, grinning and looking back into her eyes, holding her close. They were barely inches apart and as he looked at her, he leaned a little more forward until his lips brushed against hers.

She smiled as he leaned forward and closed her eyes,their lips touching. Finally, she thought to herself, knowing he could hear her.
After a bit, she pulled back a bit and looked up at him, biting her lip,"Well if you do that, you can't hear my voice", she replied playfully.

Finally, he heard as he leaned in to kiss Tari. He smiled, but didn't break the kiss; despite the chill of night and being by the ocean, a warmth filled him as their lips embraced.
After pulling back a bit, Rhys tilted his head quizzically as if pondering what Tari said after their kiss, then looked back to her with a sly grin. "Well," he said, holding her closer to him than she already was, "I suppose I don't mind the trade off," as he moved closer and kissed her again, tenderly holding her as they stood in the sand.

Tari laughed a bit as reply and closed her eyes again, feeling him touch his lips to hers once more. She moving her hands up, hesitantly at first to wrap around his neck. She heard the waves crashing down against the shore and hit her shoes with icy water. But at that moment she didn't really care.

As Tari wrapped her arms around Rhys' neck, he wrapped his arms around her, gently holding her in a tight embrace. The cold ocean water had reached their feet, but Rhys was much too lost in the moment to notice.
After a while longer, he pulled his lips a bit away from hers, his face still close. "What a way to start the school year," he mused playfully with a smile.

"Shall we walk back to the dorms?" he whispered to her.

She smiled when she heard him finish the thought, then nodded,"Yeah, we need to be up in about...three hours", she said laughing a bit,"Worth the sleep deprivation?", she asked with a slight smile, moving back a bit as they prepared to head back to O-Gifted.

"Hmm..." Rhys pondered Tari's last question. From over her shoulder, he leaned forward a bit to glance at his watch, though, he wasn't really trying to look at it, at all; he moved about halfway to checking it before turning to face and kiss her again.
"... Definitely worth the sleep deprivation, I think," he said after one last, lengthy kiss. He let go of his embrace, but still kept an arm around her waist as the walked from the beach towards the dorms; his other hand held his sweater, as both of them had quite warmed up already.

Rhys walked along the ground before the beach and leaned on a pole, waiting for Toshie. They were going to go to lunch earlier, but she remembered she had to go to work, so instead decided to meet up afterwards. He texted her to meet at the beach, and so he waited, hands in the pockets of his coat, staring at the stars.

Toshie ran out to the beach. Late, I'm late! somehow she had lost track of time while in the shop. She saw that Rhys was already there and instantly felt bad. Her head felt a lot clearer than this morning, and hopefully she can understand things better now. "Rees!" she called out, her cheeks pink from running from the shop to the beach.
