This is not my office. Questions directed to me go to my office. This is the classroom where you post your discussions to the given topics. I will be editing this post frequently so you can see the weekly assignment here. I'll give you a certain color to post in so I can distinguish between the different topics.

When is it appropriate to reveal your powers to someone?(When is it okay to let somebody know about your powers)

Just to get around, turning into a gas like substance makes it easier to travel and fun to scare some people when forming in-front of them. Although at Homecoming that did happen, but everyone did seem nervous right?

I use my strength to pick up heavy boxes and set them down at work. I also used my strength to get my mom's car out of the mud by lifting her car up.

I used my water manipulation to mess with tourists at the beach. Same with my air manipulation. I've also used my time manipulation to help some friends.

Well see now thats a hard one. Different people have different powers. You could have a really lame power and a really sweet power.
I guess the Appropriate time to use your powers would be when you absolutely need to?? Its lame but I dont wanna get kidnapped by scientists

I agree with Artemis, the appropriate time to use your powers would be when you absolutely need to. If it is for self-defense, we shouldn't make a big scene about it. But I can do hand-to-hand combat to defend myself and my voice could be it's own rape whistle. There are people around to help, like law enforcement so we should leave the big stuff to them at this point.
I also don't want to get kidnapped by scientists...

My name is Penelope not Maria, and I agree with Artemis and Lyra on the fact that our powers should be used when they're needed. To save someone, or stop something bad from happening. And while it may not be necessarily appropriate, I do think that the occasional spark of electricity to someone being particularly... irksome... is a good thing.

I concur with Penny not Maria. The occasional burnt eye brows or loss of breath does not hurt once in a while if there really bothering me or pissing me off. I mean Im not gonna try to kill them...

I don't think we should use our powers for our own personal pleasure, especially if directed at somebody else. That person could be more powerful than us. Because of our poor judgement, that spark of electricity, or that manipulation of gravity, or if that mind erase-- that person's mind, their personality could change at that moment. As extreme as it is, that person could have the connections to the scientists who do want to capture us, they could have accessibility to a gun, or they could be someone else with powers. A scene could arise and a commotion would happen and people would see and then the secret is out.
If a lady's tire is stuck in a gutter, I'm not going to lift the back of the car because it looks suspicious. I'd call a toe truck for her. Blending in with the norm is what we have to do.

I don't think we should cause harm to other people for fun, that's just rude. I understand your concern Aaron about standing out too much, but if a lady's tire is stuck in a gutter, you could pretend to trying hard and pass off as normal. You can't do much to hide if you are manipulation by helping someone. But with physical powers like yours, Aaron, you have an advantage.
