( Type of Power ) Physical
( Weakness ) If Lia is knocked out before or using her power, she is pretty much useless. Also the weight of her steel form is extreme; her speed is greatly reduced and she usually breaks through the floor (if she‘s in a building).
( Good vs. Evil ) Hero
( Personality )
Growing up with an only one parent and a brother with an addiction affected Lia’s personality greatly. She had to be mature and responsible; traits she carried into her teens and will probably keep for life. Through out grade school, Lia’s friends also affected her. While soft spoken, welcoming Lia would talk to anyone, she would often get rejected from her lack of crayons or cool clothes. This rejection made Lia try harder for friends. Most of the people she spoke with were the “problem” children. She would listen to their problems, play with them and just treat them like normal kids. As she moved to high school, Lia managed to make friends from the cool groups as well. But no matter who she was friends with, Lia usually became a confidante to them. Lia truly doesn’t mind being there for people, she likes to help. Though keeping so many secrets and hearing so many sad tales definitely depresses Lia, she tries to push it away and keeps the sadness to when she is alone. Lia loves being with people, and will do nearly anything for them.
( Little Details )
( Strengths) Lia feels like she was born to listen and help people. She has great empathy skills and patience; both key in helping others. Lia also prides herself with being able to talk to new people, without feeling awkward. Of course, Lia also can‘t really sense when something is awkward…
( Weaknesses ) Lia can be very pessimistic at times; usually when she thinks of her brother or hears a problem she can‘t solve. She also has a poor sense of humour, not often getting jokes or puns unless its blatantly obvious.
( Dark Secrets) Other than having a brother she gave up on, Lia doesn’t have any dark secrets. She just hates herself for letting her brother continue his self-destructive life and would do anything to try to help him again.
( Reputation ) Though Lia is new, its becoming fairly obvious that she is soft spoken and kind.
( Family)
( Mother ) Laura Novak, 38. After the birth of her second child, Gloria, Laura packed up and left. She wanted to go do all the things she missed out on, seeing as she was a teen mother. Lia never met her mother and doesn‘t want to. Lia is positive that her mother caused all her family’s problems.
( Father ) Scott Dalton, 42. He works as the manager for a Dairy Queen. Lia and her father get along rather well. He tries to be there for his children, but its difficult being a single parent. Scott was glad when he found out about Lia‘s powers, it meant she could get out into the world and learn something at a gifted school.
( Siblings ) Henry Dalton, 22. As a teen Henry got involved with the wrong crowd and as a result has a serious drug addiction. It was painful for his younger sister, Lia to watch his transform from his happy, fun self into a druggie. Lia tried to help his out doing whatever she could to make him go back to normal. At eighteen, Henry got sent to prison for trying to rob a corner store, that was when Lia gave up hope that her brother would change. Now neither Scott nor Lia know where Henry is; they don‘t even know if he‘s alive.

( Phone ) A black, flip up. She got it cheap from a pawn shop, with the brand scratched off.
( Music ) None.
( Anything Else) Just her clothes, a scrapbook from her childhood and a journal. Lia can‘t afford much else.
(Sample)
“Come on Henny-Penny! Get up, it’s Christmas.” Were the words eleven year old Lia said to her sleeping older brother. She reached out her pale hands, giving Henry a shake. The bed moved back and forth, but the teen still slept. Lia tried yelling in his ear, turning on the light, anything to get him to wake up. The girl wanted her Christmas presents.
Hearing the noises from his children’s room, Scott got off his futon bed in the living room and made his way to see what was going on. The floorboards of the one room apartment creaked as he walked. Scott entered the room, seeing Lia shaking her brother.
“Come on Lia, let’s let Henry sleep. Come on, I’ll make hot chocolate and we can open presents.” He said, gesturing his daughter out of the room. With the promise of present, Lia bounded out of the room, stopping at the doorway to give her brother, her hero a sad look. It wasn’t going to be the same with out him, she though. Scott gave his daughter a glance, one that said “Hurry up”, then she left the room. Scott leaned over his son, fixing the ruffled blankets. Scott sighed, remembering the state his son came home in just a few hours ago. He wouldn’t be surprised if Henry would sleep all day. With a kiss to his son’s forehead and a wish that he would get better, Scott left the room.
