( Ability )[/color] Brent has the power of accelerated healing. He is also able to turn completely invisible. Usually, he can turn an object/person he is holding invisible as well; but that power comes and goes, for he has little training. Brent cannot control his invisibility well, so he often disappears based on his mood.
( Type of Power )[/color] Physical
( Weakness )[/color] His invisibility wears out easily, and his accelerated healing is much slower in extremely cold temperatures.
( Good vs. Evil )[/color] Brent is very flighty, so he tends to jump to whichever team is winning. He's mostly good-natured though.
( Personality )
Brent is easily agitated and even more easily embarrassed. Any serious upset to his mood can set his power off, which really just irritates him more. Brent is generally a good-hearted, fun loving, and friendly guy; but his thoughts and feelings toward something are very hard to read (unless, of course, they are so powerful that he becomes invisible.)
He has some serious commitment issues; so he is very comfortable in a group setting, but panics easily in an intimate environment. However, he would like to overcome this characteristic. He started shying away from close relationships recently, and his guard constantly being up is a definite nuisance to him.
He's a dedicated worker and is very goal-oriented. Brent knows exactly what he wants, but rarely knows the best way to get it.

( Strengths)[/color] Brent knows how to be extremely quiet and stealthy, so he'd make an awesome spy. He is easily annoyed but can keep his temper in check. He has his priorities straight.
( Weaknesses )[/b][/color] He has little trust in people and cannot tell a person's character well. He rarely offers his feelings. He'd probably sell out his own grandma for a great party.
( Dark Secrets)[/color] Up until he attended this school, he was a criminal. As soon as Brent's mother realized he had the power of invisibility, she used him to obtain whatever she felt their family needed. His father sent him to the West coast before the law could catch up with him.
( Reputation )[/color] His peers don't know much about him, as he is a guarded individual. They know where he's from and that he has a shaky relationship with his mother. They know he loves a good party, and that his accelerated healing gives him the neat (and often handy) ability to drink obscene amounts of alcohol without becoming inebriated. The student body is aware of his sexuality.

( Mother )[/color] Brent's mother is Cathy Jean Woodsen. She is 36 years old and unemployed. They have a difficult relationship, as she has been using Brent for many years. He loves her and enjoys her company, but he knows that she is not good for him. After he realized that his mother had used him nearly his entire life, Brent became very guarded of himself.
( Father )[/b][/color] Brent's father is Curtis Matthew Woodsen, and he is 40 years old. He is a recently retired US Navy Lieutenant Commander who now teaches economics at a Georgia high school. Brent and his father have a good relationship, but Brent had always been closer to his mother.

After Ron's outburst, Hermione shifted uncomfortably in the large chair by the common room fireplace. Normally, Hermione wouldn't hesitate to retort back to Ron. However, the Gryffindor common room was currently full of on-lookers now gaping at the trio.
She drew in a sharp breath and said, "I really don't understand how you could be upset about this, Ron. I was asked to The Three Broomsticks, and I accepted the invitation. I'm not obligated to spend each Hogsmeade trip with you and Harry, who, might I add, isn't upset about this. Right, Harry?"
"I -- erm," Harry faltered, biting his lip. He quickly looked back and forth between Hermione and Ron. Both were fuming, and Harry didn't know which side to take. He finally said, "I mean, it IS Malfoy, Hermione. I can see why Ron would be upset." Harry looked at Ron for help, but the red head was still glaring at Hermione.
Hermione let out an exasperated sigh, and ranted, "I should have known you wouldn't be any help! Of course YOU wouldn't understand either. You have Ginny and Ron has -- " Hermione stopped briefly to shoot a disgusted face at Ron, "Lavender. But me? I just have all of our homework for company, as you two haven't done your own work since first year. Draco Malfoy asked me to spend the day with him in Hogsmeade this Saturday, and I said yes." She picked up her books and turned sharply toward Ron. "You might not want to be so surprised in the future when someone asks me out. I can't. . .I WON'T wait around for you forever, Ron. I'm not going to become a spinster just because there's a chance that you might like me."

I also just realized that my character's name and my user name do not match. That's because Austin Pennington is one of Brent's four multiple personalities. Just kidding (: It's just proof that I'm indecisive. The user name was the name of the character at first, but I couldn't decide on a middle name that I liked. I decided to go with an entirely new name haha. If it's a problem, I could make a new account or switch the name of the character so that they match (:
