I'm quite partial to that one too. If not gold, silver would be lovely in my opinion.

I feel like silver would make it too bland. There's not much color on there right now.

If not silver, how about... onyx. Or with the theme, a navy color would do wonderfully -- each with the reflective aspects of the gold of course.

I was thinking blues would be good.
Speaking of which, there's also the choice of using the current background and banner with the new layout as another skin, for anyone who is attached to the current layout.

How do people feel about this as a replacement for superman?

I'd have to see how it would look with both of the current layouts. The edges look rough and Wonder Woman's left, er, her right shoe could use more work. I don't know if you use photoshop, but I know people on here use photoshop and maybe they could re-do it. The gradients/shadow coloring look blotchy on the coloring.

I can fix her shoe and the edges, and its not wonder woman - just so you know. If you want to redo it, gopher it.

This is what we've so far for a possible new layout for Oceanside. Let us know what you think! Notes: -the banner is the probably the only thing design-wise that will be changed. If you want to make a banner, gopher it. This is what we have in there right now. You can either just make something to replace the three superheroes, or totally redo the banner. If you redo/replace the superheroes, please make sure the background is transparent. If you do redo the banner, please make sure that the dimensions and the background color stay the same, otherwise it won't fit into the rest of the layout (also, keeping the curved edges would be lovely.) If you have any questions, let me know. We would love to have some of your work up on the site!

The actual width of the image is 940, the width of the grey bit is 907. It needs to line up with this if that helps. The color for the grey is d7d6d6. Other then that, artistic freedom, girl. If we use it we'll credit you in the credits. I love you for this! Unless it sucks, lol.

Also, feel free to change the little tab that the superheroes are on. You can change the width or height, or remove it completely.

Well I'm just redoing the people you have up. Does /that/ have to be something specific or... whatever size. /edit: I might try and do the banner. For the hell of it. What's the font you want.

The width of the tab is 316, and the height is 185 (the height of the whole thing is 238). If you want to use the font you mentioned to Robyn earlier, I liked that one. The one I used is called 'Organic Elements' on Dafont. Or you can choose a new font, though I would like it if you ran it by me first.
