Room 609: Penelope Greene & Nefertari Adel

Lyra shrugged, "okay." she replied to Jasper. It was cool they weren't dating, everybody hooked-up, right? Lyra looked around Tari's and Penny's room, never seeing it before. "Well I guess I should be going now, more people to visit."

[Derek Tamin]

"Yeah. Lets go." Derek and Lyra made a quick exit, back off to the Student Council room. Much work to be done.

[Nefertari Adel]

Well this is awkward, she thought to herself,"Um, yeah. Thanks for considering me for the position", she said to Lyra and Derek. She didn't have to justify why there was a guy in her room, I mean they were both fully clothed and a few feet apart.

"I'll um, see you later Jasper, thanks again for lending me your jacket", she said to him as he stood awkwardly by the door. Then waved to Derek and Lyra as they exited,"Bye."

[Jasper Creed]

Well thank you...fan freakin tastic A sigh left Jasper as he waved to Tari. "My pleasure Miss Tari" He said waving to her and following Lyra and Derek out the door. He held his two jackets making his way outside.

[Nefertari Adel]

"Text me if you want to hang out or tour the school", she called after him before shutting the door. She flopped down on her bed, blowing her bangs out of her face and sighed,"Impeccable timing."

Tari really did want that position on the council, so this sucked. Plus, they hadn't even been doing anything. She wanted to scream into her pillow, but she was a bit old for tantrums.

To try and get that awkward incident off of her mind, she got up and went to her desk. Clicking her pen, she began to outline her essay for History of the Gifted.

[Penelope Greene]

Penelope woke up that morning a bit later than usual. She got out of bed slowly and headed to the bathroom, where she took a long shower and got ready for the day. Her stomach growled with hunger, and she decided to go have some breakfast. She singed a bit of Tari's hair, just because she could, and left the room, heading for the dining hall.

[Jasper Creed]

Jasper walked through the very long, very black and very tiring hall way to Tari's room. Seeing her name plate he balanced Tari in his arm and opened the door wonderng or hoping not to wake her roommate. Seeing no one even in the bed he raised his brow. "A partier?" He shook his head laying Tari down in her bed. He wrote a small note.

[Penelope Greene]

Penelope walked into her dorm, sweaty and a bit out of breath from the run around campus she had just done. Her classes were a bit overwhelming right now, and she needed a stress-reliever, and he run had done just that. She grabbed her shower things and left the room, coming back 10 minutes later fresh and not gross. She sat down on her bed with her computer and tried doing some work.

[Nefertari Adel]

Nefertari walked back from the city, she had been making the most of weekend off-campus privileges, glad she barely had any homework she walked happily up the stairs to her dorm. Getting out her key, she opened the door to see Penelope and suppressed a sigh. She had barely seen her roommate lately and had been enjoying that immensely.

Walking in through the doorway, she let her bag fall on her side of the room and waited for the unavoidable.

[Penelope Greene]

Penelope didn't look up when she heard the lock click and the door open, knowing that it would be Nefertari. She could not deal with that... thing right now. She suppressed a sigh and kept looking over her work, trying to make her thoughts sound at least somewhat coherent in the paper she had due the next day. Penelope hoped that Neffy wouldn't bother her too much, though Penny was in need of another stress-reliever, and nothing would relieve her stress more than killing Nefertari.

[Nefertari Adel]

Since Penelope apparently wasn't in the mood to antagonize her, Nefertari decided to take advantage of the situation. She went over to her desk and began doing her work, which she finished within a couple minutes.

Growing bored of the silence, she decided to practice/play with her powers by creating a mini-tornado on Penelope's desk. The papers circled around her side of the room and made a bit of a mess.

Penelope's head shot up when she saw Nefertari mess with her papers. She shot a spark out of her hand towards Tari's desk, lighting her work on fire, without looking at her. She crossed her legs on the bed and tried to go back to her work, hoping that Nefertari wouldn't be stupid enough to mess with her, though half hoping that she would...

[Nefertari Adel]

Jeez!, her eyes widened when her papers went up in flames, Nefertari quickly put it out and sent a small ball of water to across the room and exploded it on the other girl's desk, destroying her work. A corner of her mouth turned up in a smirk and she wondered how Penelope would react. She was bored and needed something to entertain her, but she'd rather not destroy the room. Ah well, what's done is done. I can't reverse time...yet.

[Penelope Greene]

Penelope was getting pissed, and she could feel the anger rising inside of her. Penny shot a force field out around herself, pushing Tari against the wall. "Stop," she said to her, glaring at her in anger. She knew that she could always print out new copies of assignments, but that was a nuisance, just like Tari.

[Nefertari Adel]

Tari flew back against the wall and glared back, after righting herself she sent a jet of water at Penelope and replied with a simple,"No."
