Artemis smiled as she made her way over to the group. She kept silent not wanting to intrude on anything. They were talking to the new girl and she happened to walk right when they were talking about powers.

Vergil was pretty sure the mandatory and curious "you" was directed at Ethan so he turned his attentions to Artemis, "Deed yu sleep vhell, Meesy?" He asked her so in hopes of bringing up last night so he could gauge her energy and see if she was okay.

The blonde came over and started talking to Vergil while Anna waited for Ethan's response. She tried not to make her disgust too apparent, moving slightly from her and turning away. This is California, though, she thought.

Artemis turned her attention from the two over to Vergil who spoke to her. Again it took her a few moment to comprehend his words. She nodded."I think I uh...I think I fell asleep in the common room" SHe said running a hand through her hair.

"Sounds a lot more useful than my powers," he replied laughing, "My drawings come to life, basically." He pointed over to the fountain, "You see that over there? I made that." Ethan flipped through his sketch book to go back and show her the original drawing. As scribbley as it may be, it worked.

Vergil stifled a laughed with his hand and sighed, "Yu theenk? Meesy, yu voke me uhp und ended uhp pahsseeng atu vhile seeteeng next tu me. Vere yu ohkay? Haff yu been sleepeend eenuff?" She better have been. She may be healed, or at least she looked healed from that whole park fiasco, but sleep was important.

"Whoa," Anna replied, skeptical at first until Ethan flipped through his sketch book. "Well, that's cool, though!" she reassured him. "Could you draw something for me right now?" She put on a sweet smile and clasped her hands in front of her.

After Derek put his newly bought guitar in his room, he decided it would be a nice time for a smoke. Walking over to the grounds, he threw a cigarette into his mouth, about to light it. Derek however noticed a large group and moved over to the group, pocketing his lighter.
"Hey, is it a party over here or what?", he joked. Noticing a girl and guy he hadn't met, he made a passing wave to Vergil and Artemis, and said, "So, I've never seen you two before, name's Derek."

Ethan chuckled and flipped to a blank page smiling, "Sure, what would you like?" He smiled at her warmly and had his pen ready. While waiting for her answer he saw a new kid approach them, "Hey, man. The name's Ethan." Holding his pen in his mouth, he held out his hand to shake Derek's hand.

Artemis glanced at Ethans sketch book. She missed out on what the girls powers were to see Derek. Her leg wrapped so the newly opened wound would still be clean form the stitches being removed. She ran a hand through her hair snapping her fingers as a small flame was lit. "Oh..yeah sorry about that...Um Vergil I didnt mean to wake you then pass out..I had uh...a very difficult night" She said looking at the group that was now larger.

"Ett ess ohkay buht eff yu need tu tahk.." Vergil gave a look that clearly meant she could come to him. He went quiet and waved to Derek then excused himself to go climb the tree and situate himself on the lowest strongest branch to relax and survey the group from above.

Anna thought about what she wanted drawn, twisting her lips. "How about ... a peacock!"
Another boy came over, introducing himself as Derek. Anna waved at him, "Hi, I'm Anna!" Her phone went off though. Shit, it's my aunt. "I'm sorry, guys, but I have to go. Family emergency. See you later!" And she ran off.

Derek shook Ethan's hand, and thanked Artemis for the light. Blowing the smoke up, Derek turned to the group. "So what brings you all out here tonight?"
Derek then watched Anna run off, but decided to only ask her later, as he turned back to the group.

Artemis nodded to vergil as she watched hi climb the tree. "Your like a monkey" That word sounded funny coming from her with her thick accent. She turned to Ethan. "Can you really draw things that come to life?"S he asked him looking over to derek for a second. Then waving to the girl who ran off.

Vergil's legs swung above and he waved to Anna from his place in the tree with his tome in lap. He felt quite content being so high up though he made a face when Artemis called him a monkey. Like hell he was- he preferred the term agile. Hmph.
"I ahm no mohnkee, Meesy," he pouted and folded his arms childishly though the charade fell when he heard Derek, "I seemple valk, und yu?"
