Underneath a Tree

[Penelope Greene]

Penny walked out to the grounds, holding Siburis' hand. She sat down against a large tree and closed her eyes.

He followed her and sat down next to Penelope, his back against the tree as he wrapped his arm around her. “It’s a nice day today.”

"Mhm," Penny said, falling asleep.

He looked over at her and smiled, holding her close as he closed his eyes and enjoyed the sun.

Ethan took a seat underneath a rather grand tree. It was nice outside and he took out his sketchbook to draw after an exhausting week of school.

Vergil had departed with Toshie and they had both gone to their respective dorms like always. He was out and about again, changed into some relaxed clothes and freshly showered, just wandering the grounds and enjoying the night. Coming to a tree to preferably climb into a lower branch and enjoy the height, he saw a familiar face, "Herr Ee-thuhn, hallo."

Walking through the grass, Anna spotted a pair of students by a tree. Yes! she thought. She walked over, hoping they would be friendly.

"Hi!" she said, waving as she approached. "I'm Anna. I just moved in."

"Oh, hey Vergil!" he said, putting his pen down and looking at him. "How's your week been? Haven't been seeing you much lately," Ethan added, scratching the back of his head.

The boy turned his head to see a new girl had dropped in. "Hey," he said, standing up to shake her hand, "Name's Ethan, welcome to the school."

"Ett has been gut, thahnk yu- und yurs?" Vergil replied very amiably as he stood near the boy, hoping he hadn't interrupted him or anything. Before he could ask if he did, they were approached by a girl, a very pretty one. He liked her eyes. "Hallo Fräulein Ahna, vilkommen," Vergil replied kindly to the new comer with a gentle smile.

Anna was surprised (for some reason) at the boy's thick German accent. "Thank you," she replied back with a smile, standing by the boys under the tree. "So what are your names?" she asked eagerly, rocking back and forth on her toes, crossing her arms behind her.

"Vergil, Fräulein Ahna, ett ess a pleazhure tu meet yu." Vergil was enjoying Anna's energy very much- it was.. not to say sweet, but fluffy. Her body language was very inviting and the way she spoke was just the same; she seemed the friendly type and like the other girls he had run into with the exception of Toshie, she was bold.

Artemis smiled as she got back on campus grounds leaving nick to go Patrol. She was still slightly confused on what was happening. She inhaled as she decided to take a small walk. Upon looking around on her walk she spotted an oh so familiar freshman. "Vergil"S he smiled waving to hi. Soon seeing Ethan she waved to hi as well. Now seeing the new girl with them .

Vergil turned when he heard his name and returned the blond's wave, then proceeded to waved her over to join the forming group. He hoped she was alright though he wasn't going to press her for information about the previous night.

Ethan waved hi to Artemis and turned to the new girl, "So this question was coming, but what is your power?" He hoped he wasn't too straightforward. Ethan stood awkwardly, putting away his sketchbook.

"And a pleasure to meet you, too, Vergil," she responded happily. She felt very welcome in his company. "And thanks, Ethan," turning to him with a smile as well. As they got introduced to each other, though, another girl called out to Vergil and approached.

... A blonde. Anna hates blondes. She grimaced as the girl clearly made her way to them.

She turned back to Ethan though and answered, "Oh, my powers? Uhm, I can walk through walls, shape shift, and have awesome healing. You?"
