Derek nodded. "I go multiple monitor with mine too. Three screens is enough for me though. Pulling overclocked hardware along with liquid cooling, it really is one of my proud projects. Though I use Linux, custom compile." It was strange finally saying that to someone that understood, and wasn't living in their mother's basement. And were greasy. Rather, Daphne was the opposite, astonishingly cute, and probably had better knowledge of computers than the typical WoW addict. Chuckling, he said, "I never thought I'd find someone that was so good with computers and is so good looking. A deadly combo."

"I'm not deadly. More like the opposite of. My powers are harmless and I'm an expert in computers. I would hardly consider that deadly," She was blushing lightly again, her eyes shifting down to her laptop. She'd obviously chosen to leave out the good looking part. People in general weren't something she was good with. That left dealing with boys somewhere out in left field. Though she had to admit... the geek talk was an attractive quality.

The blush didn't escape his notice, and his lips were pressed to a line lolinsidejoke formed a small smile. Shifting a chair, he tilted his head suggesting she should sit. "Perhaps not physically, but I'd probably be scared if I found out you were able to get into the technical systems of a company or the like. Then depending on the company you could get information on a person, bank accounts or shut down a block." Scratching the back of his head, he chuckled and said, "The last one could potentially be deadly I think."

Daphne grinned a little, sitting beside him. She set her laptop down on the table in front of her. "Heh. Heh. Heh. Well... Let's just say I've experimented with hacking. I could probably go farther with it. I got into the school one time from my home network, a couple other places. I haven't tried any banks or anything really serious. I try not to do anything bad. It's tempting to see what I can get into and get away with, but I've learned to restrain myself. Kind of. It's still fun to try. Just... only from my home network. Behind half a dozens proxies and wired through about ten different back ups to be completely and utterly untraceable. But you know. Normal teenage shenanigans." She chuckled.

As he listened to Daphne his mind drifted back to the bank heist that he helped perform in his underground days, which soon led back to Hana and causing Derek to quickly shake the memories out of his head. "Yeah... teenage stuff. I sorta did something along those lines too." Derek somewhat laughed awkwardly, and said "It's fun going places you're now allowed to, though it does suck when you get caught." Yeah, you get caught and have to lose an alias and dye your hair. Fun stuff.

Daphne smiled slightly. He knew what she was talking about, still. That was a good feeling. "I haven't had the pleasure of actually getting caught yet. I've tried to avoid that. It's a little easier for me than most," She went on, shifting slightly. He seemed to have drifted for a moment there. That was a little odd, but everyone had their moments. She had her's a little more often than most. "So... how's... class?" She added, trying to fill the silence. Small talk was never something she was good at. Computers, books, anything but small talk.

Snapping back to reality he stuttered. "Oh class- yeah. It's boring, stuff I already know. Though I have trouble with the details sometimes. Just can't keep in my head. History is pretty much the class that kills me. I have a tendency to look forward rather than chronicle the past." Derek shrugged, not sure what to add. Joking around he asked, "So Ms. Recluse, what brings you out to the library?"

"I can't say I have the same problem," Daphne said, half smiling. She shifted her gaze back to her laptop. "Wireless wasn't working in my room. It cuts out sometimes. I think it's getting some kind of interference from someone's powers. Had to work on an essay for English. Then Charlie decided to delete it. Then I had to re-write it. Then you threw a pen at me."

Derek nodded, replying, "Ah, well that sucks." He hated when his computer would do something wrong, but he could never find the heart to hate it. It was just following instructions after all. "Well maybe it's not completely bad, considering I got to meet such a cool girl as yourself," he complimented with a tinge of teasing. "And I did learn that throwing pens at cute girls isn't the best way to introduce yourself, but it seems to not of completely bad in this case."

"Mmm... this is true. You did get to meet me. The crazy recluse psychic super genius. You should consider yourself lucky," Daphne joked, moving to pick up her computer. "We should do this again. Geek out, I mean. There aren't many people around to geek out with here," With a soft chuckle she moved the laptop back into her arms, but she didn't get up yet. "Do you want my number or something? So we can hang out? I think I can find it in me to forgive you for the pen thing."

Now it was time for Derek to blush. Usually he was the one asking for numbers. "Yeah, it'd be nice to hang out again." Quickly grabbing a sheet of paper he managed not to toss the pen and handed it to Daphne. "Perhaps I should be thanking this pen too. It seems to bring me a bit of luck, if awkwardly."

"I don't believe in luck," Daphne said, smiling slightly as she took the pen from him. She scribbled her name and number down, followed by a smiley face before setting the pen down and standing. "Well then, pen boy. I will see you later. Hopefully next time it won't involve a pen and my health." She grinned turning away from him with a slight wave. Well.. that was an interesting turn of events. Most the guys she met here weren't at all techies. The opposite, more like. Or just enough to use their iphones. Maybe they weren't all bad. Perhaps she would have to be a little less hidey in a hole and more public geeky.

Artemis had been out of class for sometime now. And it was the weekend which meant Essay time. "Wonderful" She said as she had first sat down. Piling her books and note books and pencils and sharpeners and cafeene drink in front of her she began to write.
Sighing she had been writing for about an hour and a half before she passed out in the back of the library. Thank god no one had come back to check on her. Hearing her phone vibrate she had woken up to Zeke texting her. It was odd how he was all buddy buddy with her. it was nice, but weird the last time they had spokenn they were trying to kill one another. He was a hero she was a villain.
But...was she still a villain? She has herd peaopke say she was to nice to be a villain. And she liked that, but she still had no real friends. Penny was gone, noah Nick tobias...she had hoped she would still havie tobias. She still liked him alot. Even though nothing would ever come of it.
Biting her Pencil Artemis ran her hand through her hair as she yawned and sat up. Maybe Zeke was going to visit her in here she needed to look away at least.

Zeke had been sat bored in his room, throwing a small tennis ball at the wall when he remembered he had Artemis' number. Texting her and finding out where she was, he headed over to the library. Once inside he looked for Artemis before finding her hidden right at the back of the library, and snuck up behind a row of books towards her. Grabbing her around her middle he whispered into her ear "Guess who"

Artemis was chewing on her pencil as she stared down to her laptop that was filled with words for her essay. Sighing she shook her head closing her eyes for a minute. Soon feeling someon grab her waist she was startled.
Not screaming Artemis jumped up with him still holding her and sent him flying into the the Library wall hard making a loud thud. Casing him away from her she built a wall of air. You could see all the particals and germs that stopped in the air.
Soon as his voice finally entered her ear she pulled the wall down seeing Zeke on the floor. "Zeke" She yelled then turned her voice to a whisper. "Zeke what the hell" She sais grasping her chest.
