A spark slipped through the air and lightly zapped Tari. A bemused Mykel followed, laughing to himself, waiting for her reaction.

Feeling someone zap her lightly, she assumed it was Penny, she narrowed her eyes and jumped down from the railing and looked at the direction where it had came from. Surprisingly it was that Mykel kid,"Oh hey", she greeted him, her anger dissipating.

Mykel smiled softly, sparks disappearing. "So what're you doing out here?" He asked, motioning to the area.

Melrose tilted her head like her dog commonly does when dumbfounded. She had yet to meet this guy yet.
There was something odd about him. Sparking. Up-aty. High voltage. And yet he barely had said three sentences.
She kept quiet though, seeing as he was friends with Tari, and silently observed him.

"Just came back from a movie and ran into these two", she said,"Tobias and Melrose, this is Mykel. Mykel, this is Tobias and Melrose", she said, introducing them, not knowing if they had already met."What bring you to the pier?"

Mykel gave a short nod to Tobias, and a wave to Melrose. "Neh, thought I'd look about." He mumbled as a reply, reaching out to Tari in an apologetic way. "Sorry if my spark hurt."

She waved her hand in a forget-about-it sort of way,"Believe me, I've dealt with worse", she said, remembering her fights with Penelope,"You might want to be careful though. We're in public and near water, so yeah."

"I had a kitten at home, you know." Mykel said aloud, not really meaning anything by it, just to make conversation. "I didn't know if pets were allowed here, so my poor little Jesse's home alone."

"Wait. Let me guess, now." Melrose tapped her chin, a habit she had when thinking. "You are... an electricity master!" Well now if that didn't sound corny. She quickly spoke again before anyone could realize it, "I'm Melrose, by the way." she extended her hand politely for a shake.

"Oh, most pets are", she replied feeling bad he had to leave his behind,"At least this way, it's safe from pranks and all. Kittens are adorable by the way", she replied, she loved kittens. Cats...not so much.

Mykel sighed softly. "He's named after an ex. And for my brother as well. Do any of you have siblings?" He asked, curious about not only the shadow-boy, but the two girls, both of whom seemed very nice.

Melrose smiled politely, "I'm super speedy." pointing down at her wrecked sneakers. "Ever seen the Flash? Just like that I suppose."
The siblings question got her into flashback mode. "Siblings? Yeah, I've got a younger brother, Mason. He's a gifted as well in fact. I mean, if that question was directed to me as well. If not, you can just forget I ever mentioned it."
The statement made absolutely no sense in saying. Yeah, and she knew it.

Tobias continued to remain quiet. He didn't have anything to add to the conversation. I'm feeling kind of hungry he thought to himself. Tobias drifted back into his own little world and thought about food.
