"Mm-" Vergil was cut off by the splash, "hmm." He went over to the railing and put his feet on the bottom border to be able to properly lean out and peer over to find her floating in the water. He hoped he didn't have a 'people around you drown' curse or something. There was a pause, or an interlude rather, in his thoughts when Mykel's name came up in his head; he really did worry for him..

Slipping out, Tahlah shifted into a German Shepard, shook the water from her fur, and trotted to Vergil again. Her tail wagged slowly as she sniffed at him.

Vergil laughed and shielded himself from the water droplets, dropping his arm to look at the curious female Shepard. He would have never known this was a human if she hadn't shifted right before him; it seemed like a really useful gift. The proper combination of animals in a sequence could give her a lot of advantages though she was probably at risk and even more vulnerable in such forms.

"Rrrruff!" The dog yapped, shaking as it turned into a girl again. "So, my meek little compadre, what do you do?" She asked, Texan accent slight at the moment. "You don't seem too bad.... Don't tell me you're one of them prosies?"

Vergil waved his hands before him and shook his head with a small grin upon his lips, "Nein, nein, I ahm no prohsee Fräulein Tahlah. I ahm ah suhmonhur." He smiled to her and pondered at the same time if he was meek. It wasn't a bad thing but he took note of how others viewed him.

"Summoner huh?" The accent thickened slightly. "Is that what all y'all foreigns do?" She laughed softly. "Sorry, my dad talks like that.... Would you mind showing me around?"

"I du noht know tu be honesht.. Ett ess ohkay! Du not vorry." Vergil's smile was sincere and he really didn't mind it. She obviously didn't mind his own accent. When asked, he promptly answered, "I vould noht mind ett aht ahll Fräulein Tahlah," then offered her his arm like his mother taught him. It was a bit old fashioned but he found that ladies still appreciated the gesture, "Vhere tu?"

Linking her arm with Vergil's, Tahlah laughed softly. "Oh, I've never been through these parts. Why don't you show me, cowboy?" She said with a playful wink.

Vergil just gave her a nod and led her away from the familiar pier to explore what he knew of the city. She was very polite and overall he liked her aura. His beads hummed in agreement and that only served to make him more glad.
