Artemis made a face about to say something when Nicholas kissed her. SHe pulled back a bit looking at him before she slightly leaned in and kissed him gently back. For a moment her stomach went all numb as she pulled away her cheeks bright red. Her hair fell in her face.

Artemis smiled as she nodded following him to the theater. She shivered a bit after the kiss her hand in his as they left the pier.

Toshie couldn't think straight. Everything was all muddled in her brain and her energy felt diluted by something else. The waves crashed against the pier as she leaned against the railing. It was cold out, but she's always cold so it doesn't matter. She bit her lip at her thoughts and just sighed, looking out to sea.

Olivia started to walk the pier, she'd never been oceanside before. As she was walking forward, she noticed the girl from last night?
Crap. I should probably talk to her...
She leaned against the bar, next to the girl. Looking over at her, "Um... about last night. I'll be completely honest. I was able to read that guy like an open book. He's an asshole. So I used my powers of suggestion to use him to teach him a lesson. I'm kinda bad like that." She brushed a strand of hair away.
"He doesn't know I have that power, but to be honest, I didn't want things to go like they did last night."

After leaving his room, he wandered around the premise for a bit and came upon the pier. It was a pretty clear night so he decided to stay for a bit.
Walking about, he noticed a familiar figure and an unfamiliar one from a far distance. "Toshie?" he yelled out, unsure if that was the person. He wasn't too sure of the other person, but he waited for a response from either.

Toshie scooted away sulkily as Olivia came next to her, still leaning against the bar though. "I don't place all blame on him." she glared at the girl with untrusting eyes. Last night was fishy, she wasn't just going to let everything go.
She turned to see that Max had joined in on the party and waved to him in a friendly manner.

Damn, she didn't buy it. At least not all of it. Olivia was going to try to explain more before her phone rang. Groaning, she answered the call.
Meet me at Houdini hall in 15 minutes. *click*
Who the- She looked down at her phone, seeing an unfamiliar number. Turning back to see another kid approaching the girl, she figured this was more important, and set out for the school.

Max couldn't hear the conversation, but it seems they weren't the best of friends. He thought it would be safe to walk up closer. He had nothing to lose after all, after what happened earlier today.
He waved back at Toshie, and called out to the new girl. However, she abruptly left. He faced towards Toshie and questioned, "Um, did I interrupt something?"

She smiled at Max kindly and shook her head, "No, nothing important." Toshie brushed the hair out of her face and turned to Max again, "What brings you out here?"

He sighed in relief. Facing Toshie, he responded, "I needed fresh air. I've been doing a lot of thinking today." He wasn't lying at all about that.
He turned away from Toshie towards the ocean, pausing for a bit. He needed to talk to her. He asked, "Do you remember when we first met?"

Her cheeks burned bright red as she recalled their first meeting, "Ah.. uhm... Yes..?" She turned to him, looking at him questioningly, "Why do you ask?"

Max's head turn towards Toshie. He explained, "There were some things I didn't quite explain to you, fully, at least." He paced away from her a couple feet, then turned back to face her.
"You're the only friend I've had at this school since I got here, and I want you to be able to trust me, so..." he paused for a bit, "Will you hear me out for a bit?" He told Tari everything, and that failed. He wanted to tell Toshie now, hoping it would be more successful.

She quirked a brow at him, "About your powers?" Toshie bit her lower lip, "Well... if you don't make me kiss you again, then I'll hear what you have to say." She didn't hold it against him, he probably didn't know that that's how she'd react. I mean, that's why they were all at that school in the first place.

"I won't, I promise," he said apologetically. "Well, since you brought that up first, I wasn't lying when I said I play mind tricks on people. I make people thi-," he stopped for a bit, remembering the gym incident today, but he didn't care, "think they're under drugs." He kept in contact with her eyes. Now, Toshie is the second person to know.
"I didn't know the extent, but I was wrong to try them on you," he said. "I don't think I've said it, but I'm sorry." Max recalled when they met the second time, none of this was brought up at that time though. Right now was a good of a time as ever.
