"I'm up for anything really", she replied with a shrug. She wondered why Tobias was being so quiet tonight and had to stifle laughter when she kept catching Melrose staring at his face. She winked at the girl,"Ruby's would probably be open right now, or we could go to In-N-Out", she suggested, California was one of the only states to have In-N-Outs.

Melrose was stunned to see Tari winking. Did she know? Did she know Tobias had a pretty face? Did she know that Melrose liked the pretty face? Geez.
"In-n-out sounds fabulous!" Melrose turned to see Tobias shooting her a smile. Geez. She tried to smile back, it was almost painful. Repeating over and over in her head to not throw up.

"Me? I'm fine. Not to worry." What ever you do. Don't look at his face. "Are you? You seem awfully quiet, bud." She rubbed his arm playfully, trying to keep her composure. She didn't know him well enough to be sure if he was the quiet type. Which was funny because here she was, having met him a few days ago, and yet she was tripping all over herself because of him.

Artemis walked to the pier with Siburis and Penny. She looked around as the lights were on and people were all out since it was sunday night. "See...I want a life like that"S he said with a smile. Artemis moved her hair into a bun as she pulled down her skirt a bit till they reached the pier. She inhaled the cold air happy she was with her 'friends'.

"Something where I can just be myself...Im sick of having to hide my powers...its why I was sent here though..." She said looking to everyone laughing and having fun. "And Im a total bitch...I dont" She stopped shaking her head. "Nevermind...Its nice down here isnt it" She said looking to the pier.

He looked around at the people, seeing them all walking around going about their business. He nodded at Artemis as he said the comment about a life. He longed for something like that too and now it might come true as he held Penelope’s hand firmly in his. “There are a lot of people around.” He looked over at Artemis wondering is she was alright.
