Melrose Marshall is Lyra's roommate and second bestie. Melly is adorable, even though she is a junior. She is cute and playful and she's super-speedy awesome. She likes Mel so much, she might just approve the TobiasxMel shipping.
Tobias Knight is Lyra's best friend for life. They knew each other for a long time but have always been just friends and Lyra wants to keep it that way. They are the Ted and Robin of irl, except they never dated or hooked up. Maybe they are the Robin and Barney of irl. Lizzie and Gordo, too.

As a senior, Lyra recently learned that relationships aren't the greatest thing, especially going to a high school where people live all over. Lyra likes dates and people who are emotionally-strong, along with physically. She likes challenges but beware, Lyra is extremely jealous.
Ethan Hawke: They broke up in January or December or November. I don't even know if they are dating, probably not because love is a lie.
