The Beach

[Melrosie Marshal]

Melrose followed Lyra. She was curious to see who'd be here. Spotting Tari with some people, Melrose's face perked up.

"Hey Tari!" she called

Tobias began to look around at other beach goers as he sat alone. He thought he saw Lyra nearby and decided to call out to her. "Lyra!" he yelled to the girl, hoping he wasn't mistaken.

[Ethan Hawke]

Ethan swam back to the shore and gasped for breath as he came out from under the waves. He breathed in and out heavily as he flopped onto his back and lied on the sand.

"TK!" Lyra called after TK, making sure her voice wouldn't sound like a megaphone. She waved out to her friend, quickly turning to Melrose to give her a look, almost a snicker, but nothing mean, just picking on her about their conversation at the dorm room earlier.

[Mykel Rahs]

Mykel popped up, swimming to shore. "Tobias, come on!"

Tobias smiled at Lyra, but was distracted by Mykel calling his name. "Whaddya want?" he called to Mykel, feigning annoyance.

Artemis poped back up coughing. The wave cought her off gaurd. Artemis closed her eyes as she went under the water. She swam around for a minute untill reaching the shore. She stood up walking on the sand. Her hair flipped back as she inhaled deeply. Artemis saw Ethan back on the sand and Tobias with Mel and Lyra. "When did they get here?" SHe asked herself. Artemis made a large gust of wind come through to dry her off. "Huess I dont need a towel"She said sitting by herself in the sand.

[Nefertari Adel]

Tari stopped swimming and made the currents push her back to close to shore, she spotted Melrose and waved,"Hey! Come in the water's...coldish", she said laughing. She saw Tobias still sitting on the sand and waved him over. She heard Artemis coughing and laughed,"Water not your thing?", she said laughing and making sure the water wouldn't go into her mouth. The Pacific Ocean was pretty but tasted disgusting.

[Ethan Hawke]

Ethan waved out to Lyra after hearing her voice, "Hey Lyra! Can't get enough of me so you have to follow us to the beach huh?" He laughed and got up from the shore heading over to her.

[Mykel Rahs]

"I want you to get in the water!"Mykel called back, waving wildly.

Tobias looked at Tari quizzically. "Yes Tari?" he asked her with a grin. He turned back to Mykel and shook his head. "I might get in the water a bit later," Tobias told Mykel.

[Lyra ♫♪ Calnote]

Lyra stuck her tongue out at Ethan and shook her head. "You caught me, Ethan," Lyra said sarcastically, her hands on her hips, "did you forget to tell me you could read minds?" Lyra tilted her head.

[Melrosie Marshal]

Melrose's face dropped. Why didn't he say anything to me?
What? You silly girl, Lyra is his best friend.
Melrose watched her roommate look at her playfully and then make her way on over to him. Geez.

But this was a good thing. He didn't think anything of it, which is exactly what Melrose's had wanted in the first place. Right? That's she wanted? That's what she wanted in the first place?

Quickly shutting out the obnoxious droning of her conscious, Melrose looked out at the ocean. IT was pretty. It always made things better.

But you know who else made things better? Tari. Her voice cutting into Melrose's worries.
"I don't have a swimsuit!" She called back, realizing she hadn't even thought to pack one. But did really matter? Heck, she didn't even own a swimsuit.

[Nefertari Adel]

"Get in the water!", she shouted so he could hear her over the noise of the waves,"You too Melrose!", she called out to the girl, who was standing alone now that Lyra had walked over to Tobias.

[Ethan Hawke]

"Oh so sorry, it just slipped my mind," he said laughing a bit, "Who's your friend?" Ethan smiled and waved to the girl who came with Lyra.
