Brushing off the ash on the end of his cigarette and chuckled. "What an interesting notion, a different name." It sounded so unusual, but well, it was certainly plausible. He glanced over at Rhys and nodded. "Perhaps you'd be Winston, possibly."

Maybe talking a walk in the courtyard in the middle of winter break wasn't the best idea. Either she was crazy, or she was overhearing Derek and Rhys talk about boy names. So this was what guys talked about when nobody was around? Naming future children or what not? She twitched her eye, but pieced it together. So they were naming themselves... interesting.. Lyra decided to join in on the conversation.
"Rhys would be Winston?" Hm. Winston... Winston... "that sounds like a rebel and fatalist. You look more like a Cillian," Lyra suggested.

In the bitter cold between months, the pink haired rebel now trouncing the grounds through the less lit areas had the intentions of throwing herself into a hot bath and then to bed. She had been restless. Cooped up in her room wasn't the ideal 'winter break' scenario for her so per usual she had found her own means of entertainment. It wasn't until she heard voices that she was stopped in her set train of thought , brows furrowing. Who in the hell could be up at this god damn hour? In the fucking cold, no less. She had yielded to a casual walk and then shrugged to herself, following the sounds of three to the courtyard she had also spent many-a-night in. Cal gave a wave of her hand, cheeks pink from liquor, a very lazy smile crawling onto her lips. She made herself comfortable near Lyra though now curious as to why Rhys was being renamed.

Rhys was liking this idea of roleplaying more and more. The idea of being different people... it was almost genius! As Lyra joined in on the conversation, Rhys turned to Derek, a devilish grin on his face and motioned to her with his thumb.
"Hey... here come Caitlin, eh?" Rhys chortled. He also noticed Cal outside in the courtyard as well, making her way toward them and standing by Lyra.
"Why... hello, Jimenna," he greeted, a stupid grin still on his face.

"Caitlin!? What kind of generic name is that?" Lyra was taken aback. How did Rhys come up with a name so quickly? And out of all names, why Caitlin? How did she go from a Lyra to something so plain and common sounding? Winston, Carlo... all of these were... uncommon names. Well, maybe Lyra was out of the blue for a name. "I'll never remember the name Jimenna..." Lyra held the back of her neck. Jimenna... timenna... Bobmenna, fofenna, fi fi fo fenna mo menna.

"Ugh.." Nose wrinkled, even Cal held the random name chosen for her in distaste. It was, well, to say the least, very unappealing - almost like a cacophony of deafening alarm bells. She folded her arms to preserve some of the warmth she held onto from her drinking and snorted, "As if. I like Caitlin better - though you look nothing like a Caitlin, Lyra. You look more like… an Ashley." Cal tilted her head and considered the name. Ashley. It had.. some class, not that Caitlin did as many very esteemed women had born such a name, but Ashley was something else. It just seemed to suite Lyra far better. A soft A like a gentle L, rather than a C. C was reserved for someone far tougher in looks whereas Lyra seemed gentle from outside.

Tobias found himself in the courtyard. He walked slowly and kept his head tilted upwards towards the sky. Occasionally, he checked to make sure he wasn't going to bump into anything as he strolled along rather aimlessly. Contemplating the mysteries of the universe, TK let a small grin appear upon his face. There was something about the night air. Something about tonight tugged at TK and resonated within him. Something interesting was going to happen.

Lyra needed to get out. She had to take a break and get away from it all. Too bad she couldn't get away from it all. With curfew intact, she couldn't leave the gates of Oceanside, but the courtyard would have done. It was cold outside but it beat staying indoors on Valentines Day. She saw her good friend TK walking about the courtyard. "Tobias!" Lyra called out, but what was a raise of the voice seemed like a yell to others. She stood up from the bench and caught up to him. "I know I can always count on you to be outside in the night."

"Ah," Tobias proclaimed knowingly when he heard Lyra's voice. Who else could be so loud? Tobias's smile widened as Lyra drew close and he turned to face her as he kept walking along the courtyard path. "Of course I'm outside, silly. There's nothing better than an evening stroll," Tobias mused. Now that Lyra had arrived, TK was able to ignore the strange feeling welling up inside of him. It wasn't uneasiness or fear. It wasn't hunger or worry. It felt like an uncanny sense of calm. Almost as if TK had been standing at the edge of a monstrous storm and one step would plunge him into the maelstrom. But that didn't matter now. The feeling subsided as he studied his bestest friend.

"Evening? TK I know you prefer darkness over anything light," Lyra said, putting her arms around her back and following TK as he walked. The cold air didn't seem to matter any more as she moved closer to Tk and hooked arms with him. "How have you been doing, today?"

"You're hilarious." TK responded sarcastically to Lyra's quip. He shook his head and glanced down at his feet. Darkness... Did he enjoy it or did it frighten him? Did he trust himself to control the darkness? Lyra's touch brought Tobias back to the present. He smiled at her again. "I've had a fine day," he replied honestly. "How did your day turn out? Anything special happen?" he asked her.
