Oceanside School for the Gifted is located in the city of Oceanside, California, near San Diego. The School is a gifted boarding school that currently takes students grades 9-12. There are three divisions, one for each category of powers (Physical, Mental, and Manipulation).

This Roleplay is an urban fantasy roleplay, meaning that it takes place during the current year, and everything in the real world exists in this world, with the addition of superpowers.

Those with superpowers respond directly to the Gifted Agency (G.A.). Within the G.A. there is the Council of the Gifted, the Gifted Court of Law, and The various departments within the Agency do different things, all of which help the gifted world run as smoothly as possible. As with any government, of course, there are those who do not wish to follow the Agency blindly.

Within Oceanside, there is a wide array of students, from supervillains to superheroes. And just as it is in Oceanside, it is outside. The different beliefs that roam across the globe cause tension, but it has not surmounted to anything significant. Yet.
