Room 505 is a two person sized room with one large bay window, it has a view of the grassy area between the residential buildings. It's in the middle of the middle floor.

Tobias walked in, extremely tired. He changed into a tank top (not a wifebeater haha) and sweats. He noticed his bed was covered in his gear and laughed. He collapsed on his bed and tried to not sleep.

Tobias turned over restlessly in his bed. He let out a breath with the utmost slowness. TK hadn't been out on any late night vigilante adventures since he'd been wounded. Maybe he'd lost all of his courage...
No, that wasn't it. Tobias wasn't afraid. Closing his eyes, he searched for the right word. He had been... ignorant. Before, he had glorified the idea of super hero, but now that he had tried it, the idea had lost its luster. He wasn't afraid. That part was for sure. He just didn't like being shot. He didn't like waiting in the cold. He didn't like having to rationalize his actions to himself the next day.
With another drawn out sigh, Tobias picked up his beloved ballistic face mask. No longer did it seem like the noble, fearsome face of justice. Now, the empty eye sockets stared back at TK with dark judgment. Like a lifeless skull, the mask laughed at TK. It mocked him.
You? A hero? Don't make me laugh... It whispered in the quiet, haunting way that makes a person question whether or not they actually imagined it.
Tobias shuddered and tossed the mask to the floor. He instinctively put his hand to where the bullet had hit him. Even though it had long since healed (thanks to the help of a student with healing powers), the emotional scars still remained. He had been afraid then. Afraid of dying. Afraid of being discovered. Afraid of being identified by traces of blood left behind. But most of all, TK had been afraid of his shadow. In those key seconds of frantic action, Tobias had felt the old, hungering desire from his shadow. For many long hours, TK had trained to control his shadow and this small hiccup had cast doubt across his mind.
He wasn't afraid. Not anymore. He was being logical now. He was being safe. He couldn't risk going out again. It would be dangerous. The world didn't need a hero. The world didn't need Tobias.

Tobias awoke with a start. He had mistakenly fallen asleep! "Crap," Tobias muttered to himself, sitting up. He wiped sweat from his brow as he took a deep breath and rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands. How long had it been? Too long.
Now even more tired than before the nap (if that was even possible), Tobias forced himself to get up. "OUCH!" He yelped in pain, hopping on one foot. TK had stepped on his mask that he had carelessly thrown to the ground. He sat back down on his bed and massaged his foot. So far, things were not going well. Tobias felt his stomach growl which indicated hunger had set in during his sleep.
What should I do now? he thought to himself.

Tobias got up. He made sure to avoid the mask on the ground this time. Quietly, he dressed and walked to the door. He turned off the lights, opened the door and stepped into the hall. Looking back, the band of light filtering through the sliver of open doorway illuminated the face mask on the floor. The door clicked shut, leaving the room in shadow.

Tobias sat on his bed and looked down at the ballistic face mask clutched in his hands. He ran his fingers along the frame. He had been watching the news recently and following the rising trend in crimes. One person in particular, nicknamed "The White Fox" had been eluding the police. An urge within TK told him that he needed to stop this criminal, although he couldn't explain why. A sensation of anger surged through TK whenever The White Fox was shown on television. Maybe it was because it was as if this person was mocking TK.
That was crazy though. No one really knew about Tobias or his "heroic" actions. Fear had been holding him back for quite some time now. He wanted more. He wanted to feel satisfied with his work. If only he could feel proud of himself. Unfortunately, his own survival instincts kept him from putting himself in a situation where he could really rise to the challenge.
Standing up, Tobias reached into his pocket and withdrew the vial containing his shadow. The black, liquid-smoke swirled inside. Warmth flowed into Tobias's fingertips and he felt more determined. He wanted to prove himself so badly.
What was it that people always said at this school? "Be the change you want to see in the world."
Tobias nodded with new resolve. TK systematically began to equip his combat gear. Tonight would be the night.
Do or die.

Tobias had been released only a few hours earlier from the Infirmary. His wounds had healed and he had promised not to overexert himself. As such, Tobias was lazily skimming over all of the school work he had missed since his disappointing fight against The White Fox.
"This is such a waste of time," Tobias muttered, setting aside a packet of worksheets. TK flopped down onto his bed and buried his face in a pillow when a soft knock came at this door. Curious, Tobias dragged himself up and walked towards his door.
"And who could be visiting at this time of night?" he wondered aloud.
Opening the door revealed a girl and a box. He recognized the girl from around the school, but wasn't sure of her name. "Uhm, hello," TK said awkwardly. The girl quickly explained the situation and handed the package to TK before departing.
Tobias shut the door and slowly meandered over to his bed again as he turned the box over in his hands. "More school stuff? I don't even remember there being a project due," he complained. Sighing, he sat down on the edge of his bed and opened the package. Inside, TK did not find papers. Instead, a mask smeared with dried blood-- his blood--stared back at him. Tobias tossed the package down and lunged for the door. He ripped it open and looked down the hall, but the girl was gone.
"Damnit," Tobias said to the empty air. He swallowed slowly. He returned to his room and glared at the fox mask lying on the floor. He roughly kicked it, sending it across the room to collide with the wall. TK threw himself onto his bed.
What next?
