Artemis inhaled deeply as she made her way back to the school. The Noah kid seemed nice. And like her to top it off. She decided to take a glance at the practice arena so freshen up on her powers. She opened the doors and looked around. It was pretty big and there were different obsticals or targets you could use that moved or stayed still. She smiled shrugging off her jacket. All she had on was shorts and a black tank top. She open each of her hand an orb of fire and an orb of wind appeared. She closed her eyes as she got in to place. She tossed a air current to hit a button to make targrets begin to move and shoot things back at her. She threw her hands one at a time as she fell getting hit once or twice. She needed to be faster. She stood back up as she yelled out at times moving things with air currents and lighting things on fire. She watched as they disintegrated. She wasnt going to use Earth not yet. It would make a bit of a mess. Artemis fell to the ground almost collapsing as it took alot of energy when she went out like that with out taking a breath every now and then. She began panting as she sat on the floor.

Nefertari came to the practice room, she hadn't worked out yet today and figured she better start getting ready for her next fight. She saw Artemis and waved to the out of breath girl, she tied her hair up in a high pony tail and got out a simulation dummy that would act as her opponent. She liked practicing with that one because it moved and had an array of attacks built in. She turned it on and stood a few feet away facing it, she saw it shoot out a ball of fire and used her water manipulation to build a shield in from of her putting it out and then using her air current she concentrated it and threw it at the dummy, propelling it backwards. It responded by creating a forcefield and sending it back, it hit Nefertari reeling backwards against the wall. Getting up, she barely managed to avoid a ball of electricity, she created an air current to make a mini tornado around the dummy and carried it upwards, she created another one to push it down, hard. It was destroyed and Nefertari slid down and breathed heavily.

Artemis took in a breath as she walked over to the side. She didnt want anything to happen whiled she was practicing so she watched Tari for a bit. She almost laughed when she got him but stifled it as fast as she could. Once she saw Tari breathing heavily she began clapping. "Your pretty good" She said walking over to her. "I dodnt know that was your powers" She said.

"Thanks", she replied with a smile,"I suck right now because I haven't been practicing. Normally it'd never hit me", she replied, angry with herself and determined to practice more,"I also can manipulate time. Comes in handy", she shrugged.

"Time eh" She said nodding. She was going to try something....To ask her a question with out deliberately asking it. Using her mind manipulation...Not really a power but..it came in handy. "Great power for being a Hero huh" She said pulling back her hair. She pushed her hand hard out to turn off the switch she had put on in the begining she sent out a strong win current.

"Yeah, I suppose. Allows you to get people out of places without wasting time, also help out on tests", she winked laughing,"Your's are all elements right?", she asked. She looked at her send out a wind current,"Hm, I wonder how strong our similiar powers would be if we combined them", she mused aloud.

Artemis chuckled at the test thing. "That Would come in handy" She repeated. Artemis nodded. "Yes all elemental" She said. Artemis turned to her. "Im not sure...maybe pretty strong?" She wasnt really sure how to respond. "Yeah Penny is going to help me train..Im getting ready to fill out an app to fight" She said.

"That'd be sick, we should try it out some time. Lately I've been using my time manipulation way more than my element's so maybe you could help me out?", she asked, the girl was older so maybe she knew some things about their power and could show her. She seemed nice enough and like a good sparring partner,"Oh...that's cool. I already filled out one, hence why I'm training."

Artemis listened to her intenetly. What was she supposed to do. She wasnt really going to help her. Her eyes widened. "Yeah..." She said looking around. "Well if we have tme maybe we could try it out you never know" She said. "Yeah I wanted to start practicing before I singed up just in case" She said running a hand to the back of her neck. "So...training to be a hero" She said slowly standing u. "Well im not really practicing at the moment. I may go walk around or somethin. You can stay and practice or...go?'S he didint know why she invited her...oh well now. She wasnt so bad.

"Sort of, not really sure hero's the right word. Maybe humanitarian slash badass", she replied laughing lightly. The word hero just didn't really fit Nefertari, to her heroes were trapped to an image and could never mess up, that would suffocate her,"Um, sure, I suppose. If you don't mind my company", she replied, she had been planning to practice but hanging out with someone seemed like a nice idea.

Artemis actually laughed when she said baddass. It just sounded weird coming from her. Artemis stood up grabbing her bag. "Well you dont have to" She said. "Im not really sure where we would be going...I dont really know where to go" She said shortly.

"We could always go into the city, there's a lot of cool places there", she replied. Nefertari had gotten an ID that said she was 22 over the summer and was thinking of trying it out, she wondered if Artemis would snitch on her though, that would be bad.

"Somewhere in town eh?" She thought about it. An evil smile came across her face. She shrugged. "What the hell why not I have nothing better to do"She said. "So...where to?" She asked Tari.

Nefertari raised an eyebrow at Artemis's expression, she didn't comment but got the feeling she shouldn't let this girl get too close. She thought about the places in Oceanside they could o but wasn't sure where the other girl would want to go,"We could walk down Mission Avenue for now and decided where to go when we get there."

Artemis saw only a glimose of Tari when she smiled at the thought of going out. She shrugged, :Sure kets go walk around: She said sort of dully. "I would suggest something but...I have no cluse where anything is" She said walking out of the arena.
